The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of December 13-17 teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get a cryptic message while Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) decides his future. Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will also deliver a warning, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
First, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will trick Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) into meeting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) so they can work through their issues. A tense conversation will wrap up with mutual respect and a hug, so Nikki’s plan will be successful.
Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will open up to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) about his disappointment over not being Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s dad.
As for Chance, he’ll keep putting on a brave face until he just can’t anymore. Chance will share a moment of honesty with Devon as he talks about feeling like a failure and worries he can’t live up to all the expectations.
Later, Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will deliver updates to Chance, so that’s probably going to tie in with the last phase of the mission. Chance may get some good news if the criminal he was after has been captured.
Following Christine’s shocker, Chance will make a significant choice regarding his future.
It’s possible Chance will decide to throw himself into work to avoid dealing with what he’s feeling. It’s also possible Chance will ditch the GCPD job entirely and focus on trying something new.
Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also make a decision when he takes Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) advice and treats the Newman Media offer like any other.
It’s actually a pretty sweet gig when you take Noah’s lingering Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) concerns out of it, so he’ll accept the extra work.
Next, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will battle second thoughts. She may realize Noah’s interested in more than friendship and worry she’s stirred this up by asking for his help.
If Tessa feels like this cover art project will jeopardize her relationship with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) in any way, she may go in another direction.
Over with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), she’ll face a surprising question when Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) asks if she’d like to move in with him.
In the meantime, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will keep scheming with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) before a fight breaks out with Ashland.
Y&R spoilers say Ashland will get a glimpse of Billy’s menacing side, but he won’t be scared. This will bring out a little taste of the “Locke-ness Monster” in response, so Ashland will deliver a fierce warning.
Billy may live to regret it if he dares to prove the story ChancComm published was true!
Victor and Adam will also fall into Billy’s trap, which may involve some planted ammo. There’ll be a cryptic message that arrives around the time Victor gets ammunition, but this may be more of Billy’s tangled web.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will weave a tangled web of her own when she shows up at the Newman ranch.
Chelsea will make sure Adam and Victor get summoned, so they’ll have a chance to see her current mental state – or at least the version of herself she’s trying to sell.
Chelsea has more problems than she’s letting on since she’ll be so fixated on reuniting with Adam.
Although Adam will dismiss that possibility, Chelsea won’t surrender. She’ll also see how the competition measures up when she first crosses paths with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Finally, Lily and Billy will delay their troubles with a distraction they both need desperately. Y&R spoilers hint that it could involve some passionate roleplay, so Lily and Billy could have some steamy fun ahead of them.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy and Lily’s relationship could take a nosedive down the road, so they’d better enjoy the peace while it lasts.
