The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of December 20-24 teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will take a fake drunk tumble while Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) talks adoption with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will also return to Genoa City for Christmas, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
For starters, Tessa will keep the baby discussion going with Mariah. She’ll want to continue communicating on an honest level when it comes to their future. Tessa will ask if Mariah’s heart is set on having a biological baby or if she’d consider adopting.
Of course, Mariah will be surprised that Tessa’s suddenly more into the idea of having a baby at all. Mariah will want to be sure Tessa isn’t doing this solely for her sake, so Tessa will promise she’s genuinely interested in planning for a family.
That brings us to Tessa’s adoption question. Back when Mariah first brought up the baby idea to Tessa, she acted like she wanted Tessa to experience what she experienced while carrying Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor.
Mariah may feel like Tessa will miss out if they take the adoption route, but this seems like a good compromise. Tessa doesn’t want a pregnancy to completely upend her career right now, so adoption is at least something to mull over.
Next, Billy will put on quite a show at Society. He’ll pretend to be intoxicated and will warn that he’s going to make Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pay.
“You do that,” Adam replies in Y&R’s weekly preview video. Billy then acts like he’s too drunk to even leave the restaurant and topples some things off a nearby table as he nosedives.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will rush to Billy’s side and feign concern to help sell the lie.
Adam will look rather concerned over the drunken spectacle, so Billy’s plan will keep doing what it’s supposed to do.
At the ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) that he can use him.
Victor will want Noah to be his right-hand man, but this is probably more about Christmas festivities than anything related to work. Victor may need Noah’s help when it comes to gift-giving and other celebratory plans.
Traci will also show up at the Chancellor mansion carrying plenty of presents. She’ll be greeted by an enthusiastic Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), who’ll be glad to have Traci home for the holidays.
