The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is going to have a very big week as Los Angeles business mogul Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) makes his way to Genoa City.
The new Y&R preview promo for the week of February 8 is out, and it offers a glimpse of what Sally and Bill’s showdown is going to look like. As fans of the Bold and the Beautiful know, Bill has some very good reasons to dislike Sally.
Last year (2020) on Y&R’s sister soap, Sally faked a terminal illness, and Bill’s significant other Katie Logan (Heather Tom) was one of the people whom Sally used in her plot to hold on to Bill’s son Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) by faking the illness.
Well, the new Y&R weekly preview shows Bill and Sally coming face to face for the first time since she left Los Angeles disgraced after her fake illness plot fell apart. Bill first greets Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) heartily, then he sees Sally over at Society, who tries to cop an attitude with him.
“You’re in my town now, so don’t blame me,” Sally says with gall to Bill. “The whole world is my town,” Bill fires back. “As long as you stay the hell out of my family’s life and LA, it’s all good,” Bill warns.
The promo also shows Bill explaining to someone that he and Sally have history, which is certainly an understatement, since at one point Bill blew up the Spectra Fashions building while Sally was inside!
Y&R spoilers offer some additional clues about what Sally and Bill’s encounters are going to look like.
It appears that Sally will first see Bill at Jabot, as he arrives to meet with Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) about Spencer Publications’ collaboration with Jabot Collective (JCV).
As Y&R viewers know, Summer was all too happy to tell Sally recently that the Spencers were headed toward Genoa City to talk JCV business.
Of course, Sally would prefer to keep her faked terminal illness scandal a secret from Lauren and Jack, both of whom she admires. But will Bill spill the truth?
Y&R spoilers say that Lauren will get intrigued as Bill hints around at his history with Sally. We’ll see how long Sally can keep her plot to fake her own terminal illness a secret – something tells us that it won’t be a secret for much longer!
