The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of February 8-12 tease that some major romantic developments are on the way. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will take things to the next level by sleeping with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), but he won’t realize Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is off sharing their big secret.
Of course, Devon wants Elena to do what she feels is right, but there’s no denying that it’ll complicate things after Elena confesses her hookup to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
While Elena and Nate enjoy their romantic getaway, Elena won’t be able to take the guilt any longer. She’ll let Nate know that she slept with Devon in the ice storm – and Nate’s bound to be hurt and outraged.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) won’t be having a great week either since Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will corner him.
Once Kyle’s ganged up on, he’ll have no choice but to make a huge admission to Summer Newman (Hunter King). Summer will find out Kyle fathered a child through an affair he had with a married woman in New York.
A powerful business mogul named Ashland Locke has apparently been raising Kyle’s child as his own. This news will turn Summer’s world upside down and no doubt leave her uncertain about her future with Kyle.
The fallout of all this will leave Sally at odds with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who surely won’t be pleased about the pain her daughter’s in.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also have an important talk with Sally, but it doesn’t look like he’ll blame her for how things went down. Sally will probably be able to spin this so that Theo looks like the guilty troublemaker.
As for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), she’ll find a way to swipe the limelight. Abby’s baby-making mission may take center stage somehow and perhaps lead Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to realize just how much this surrogacy will take over her life.
Mariah will get ready to begin this surrogate journey later in the week, but doubts will start to creep in soon enough. Although Mariah made a promise to Abby, will it be one she can keep?
Mariah won’t want to disappoint Abby, but she’ll also have to consider her own future with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and make sure she’s making the right decision for them as a couple.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victor will hit Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with the facts of a situation. He’ll want Adam to face the harsh reality, so this may involve how Adam’s choosing to handle things with Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) recovery.
Victor may get why Adam wants to agitate Chelsea into making progress, but he might also warn it could come at a price. If Adam pushes Chelsea too far, will she even want Adam after she’s recovered?
Victor may also feel like Adam’s playing with fire considering his connection to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and how much love he still has for her.
Adam and Sharon’s lingering love will indeed be a problem for Rey in the week ahead. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will angrily push Sharon for answers.
Sharon will be put on the spot regarding her bond with Adam and what he still means to her. Adam will manage to push Rey’s buttons and rev up the drama even more.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will pay Chelsea a visit and offer some support, so we’ll see “Chick” reconnect as friends in her time of need. We’ll also see Nick warn Adam and do his best to keep his brother from hurting the people Nick cares about.
Back with Amanda, she’ll meet up with Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) again and have a calmed conversation this time around. Amanda will open up to Naya and start building a relationship with her birth mom. It’ll be a strained and awkward one at first, but at least Naya and Amanda will be getting somewhere.
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will also cross over from The Bold and the Beautiful in the week ahead. Look for Bill to meet with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and cross paths with Jack as well. There’s a good chance Bill and Jack will end up having a spirited debate over Sally and her shady past!
