The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of January 25-29 teases that some big surprises are ahead in Genoa City. For starters, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will face a massive shocker at the Chancellor mansion.
Mariah will be pleased to see that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) mood has improved drastically. Abby will admit that she’s accepted her circumstances and ready to pursue another option: surrogacy.
When Abby mentions that she’s looking for someone to carry her baby, Mariah won’t realize she’s the person Abby has in mind! However, Abby will keep hinting until Mariah finally gets it – and you can bet Mariah will be floored by the mere thought of it.
Abby will deliver a heartfelt proposal in hopes that Mariah will help her become a mom. Although Mariah will want Abby and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) to have a family, it’ll be a lot to process.
After Mariah promises to think about it, she’ll meet up with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) at Crimson Lights to share the stunning news. “Can you picture me pregnant?” Mariah asks in Y&R’s weekly preview video. Tessa understandably looks taken aback, so she’s bound to wonder what Mariah’s getting at here.
Tessa might think talking to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) about potential children brought this on. However, Mariah will admit it’s Abby and Chance’s baby she’d be having.
Tessa will take in this information and offer some encouragement on the idea. She won’t have a problem with it if it’s something Mariah wants to do.
Mariah will feel like Tessa’s rather calm about the whole thing considering Mariah will be freaking out! Nevertheless, Mariah will have to put some thought into this and decide if she’s willing to put her own future on hold for Abby’s sake.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will head out in an ice storm with a goal in mind. Elena will want to deliver a package to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), which was delivered to the clinic by mistake.
Elena’s car will break down and leave her stranded at Devon’s place, but he’ll think that’s for the best. Since the weather will be so nasty, Devon certainly wouldn’t want Elena’s car sliding on the road. Elena will soon be safely tucked away in Devon’s living room, where he’ll ask a blunt question.
For closure’s sake, Devon will wonder how long Elena had feelings for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) before she slept with him. Devon will feel like he must’ve missed warning signs since he never had any inkling that anything was going on.
Elena will come clean about the fact that she actually never had feelings for Nate at all. She just felt neglected by Devon, who was focused on Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Devon will touch Elena’s face in a close moment – and they’ll seal it with a kiss. There’ll still be a sizzling “Elevon” spark, but Elena and Devon will soon realize how complicated all this has become. Elena will keep this lip lock a secret from Nate, so stay tuned to see for how long.
At Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will talk to Summer Newman (Hunter King), who’ll insist her trip to LA was eye-opening in so many ways. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will look worried as she eavesdrops, but how will Summer punish Sally with the dirt she’s learned?
Will Summer hold it over Sally for a while or drop some bombs on Jack quickly?
