The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 14-18 tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will take her next revenge steps while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) fights Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) romance. Here’s what Y&R fans can expect in the week ahead.
For starters, Sally will remain determined to push Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of the picture and clear a path for herself to run JCV. That’ll require a trip to Los Angeles and a tricky meeting with a familiar face.
Sally will have to convince Eric Forrester (John McCook) to hire Summer, she’ll likely want to hide her selfish intentions and spin this like she’s doing her rival a favor.
This Bold and the Beautiful crossover will continue with some video chats – perhaps even one to Summer if that’s how Eric chooses to formally make the offer. Summer’s going to find herself with the opportunity of a lifetime soon enough.
This fashion house job offer will be a huge deal, but Summer won’t realize it’s all part of Sally’s revenge and attempt to gain the upper hand.
Over with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she’ll feel the need to confess.
It’s possible that’ll involve some pregnancy fears or something related to the surrogacy for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). However, this could also tie in with Mariah’s distrust of Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Mariah clearly doesn’t buy Tara’s innocent act and may feel the need to admit that to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Perhaps Mariah will confess her recent tension with Tara and reveal that she got a weird vibe from Kyle’s ex.
Then again, Mariah might even confess her concerns to Summer and push her to keep an eye on untrustworthy Tara.
Kyle will continue his efforts to bond with Harrison and navigate things as best as he can with Summer. As for Ashland, he’ll become increasingly smitten with Victoria – and you can bet Victor won’t be happy about that.
Ashland has proven he can be vindictive and cruel when he wants to be. He’s not the kind of man Victor wants dating his daughter – and Victor may not trust Victoria’s motives anyway.
When Victor sees how close Ashland and Victoria are getting, he’ll push for answers. Victor will grill Victoria about the nature of her relationship with Ashland and perhaps advise her to put a stop to it.
Since Victoria obviously won’t accept any advice from Victor, we might see Victor warn Ashland next!
In the meantime, Abby will battle concerns about Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz). When Chance stops all contact, Abby will really miss the little reminders that he’s OK and coming back to her.
The fact that Chance has suddenly fallen off the map will worry Abby, who’ll convey her fears to Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) and get Chance’s mom concerned, too.
Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will eventually be called on for help, but will she be able to solve the mystery of Chance’s disappearance?
Some disturbing news may be headed Abby and Nina’s way if Christine realizes Chance has truly gone missing from his assignment. As other Y&R details emerge, we’ll deliver updates.
