The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 28-July 2 tease that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will make a love power play while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) makes a bold move with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also get an amazing offer, so here’s what fans can expect.
For starters, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will refuse to give up his fight for Summer Newman (Hunter King). He just won’t think this is how their love story’s going to end. However, someone’s going to dish out some tough love soon enough.
Perhaps Jack will argue that Summer’s wishes need to be respected – even if Kyle doesn’t agree with them.
Jack will also have something to say about Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) latest mission. Billy will hear some gossip about Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) health and decide Tara would be a great source for answers.
Despite Jack’s objections, Tara will agree to speak with Billy – though she’ll play dumb and won’t give Billy much of a story for ChancComm.
Billy will also be asked to do a favor for Summer – and he’ll end up accomplishing a familiar balance with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) as well. Lily and Billy are pros at mixing business with pleasure by now, but they’ll do it once more in the week ahead.
As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll once again find herself on the hot seat with her parents.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will put Victoria through a grilling session, so she’ll probably find out about the merger plan with Locke Communications Group and question if it’s really a good idea.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll make Adam an offer that’s just too tempting to pass up. Afterward, Victor will have a showdown with Victoria and once again leave her defending her involvement with Ashland.
A little later, Victoria will have some updates for Ashland as they continue to team up in business and form a strong bond in their personal lives.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will open up to Victor next, so this could be about Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) and all the lies Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has been uncovering.
Amanda will also corner Sutton to hurl accusations in person. She’ll accuse Sutton of murdering Richard Nealon, but there are more twists left to play out in this stunning storyline.
Other Y&R spoilers say Sally will face a shocker, so her plan with Tara may come with a snag or two. Will Sally have trouble locking in Summer’s old position at JCV?
Regardless, Sally will have an invitation for Jack later in the week. She may cling to hope of a second chance and find a way to subtly push for it.
Meanwhile, Tara will try to get Kyle thinking about some fond memories in the Hamptons. She’ll hope to be the one to heal his broken heart, so she’ll start by offering romantic reminders of the past.
Kyle is sure to be awfully distracted by this whole Summer situation, but we’ll see if Tara can make some progress.
Finally, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will have an encounter that leads to some uncomfortable moments, so she’ll lean on Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) for support in the aftermath.
This will undoubtedly tie in with some baby drama, but Tessa will offer a sympathetic ear and guidance.
