The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of May 3-7 tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will learn some information that he can use as leverage.
Victor will feel like he’s got the upper hand on Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), but Chelsea won’t go down without a fight. She’ll start plotting a move to regain the advantage, so Victor’s fight to prove her guilt could get tougher.
Meanwhile on The Young and the Restless, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will be an emotional wreck over Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) kidney crisis. As Sharon crumbles, she’ll get some wise guidance and support from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will clash as they try to figure out the best way to help their daughter.
However, Nikki should remind Nick and Sharon that this is the time to band together, not let the horrible situation drive them apart.
Faith will need a kidney donor ASAP, but she’s got a rare blood type that’ll make finding a match difficult. Nick will do something bold as he fights to save Faith, so that could involve some sort of public plea to get everyone tested.
Later, Y&R spoilers say Nick will make a major sacrifice for the sake of his family. Of course, Nick surely knows his own blood type as well as Faith’s, so he’d know if he had the same rare one.
They apparently don’t share that blood type, so Nick’s sacrifice must be something besides donating a kidney to save Faith.
The obvious writing choice here is for Adam to be the match and for this to force him out of hiding. This would certainly raise the stakes on the Adam search. Maybe Nick will team up with Victor and put his pride aside to beg Adam for assistance.
Nevertheless, it seems like Chelsea may find some way to make this whole situation work in her favor, so this could turn into quite a mess! Chelsea will do everything in her power to come out on top.
Next, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will have a tough day. She’ll find herself missing Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) more than ever, so Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will step up to help Abby through this rough patch.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have a strategy session with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). This should tie in with Devon’s plans for a small imprint label, which will feature up-and-coming jazz artists.
Devon wants to use this label to honor Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), but he’ll need Jack’s cooperation on a few things. Jack should like what he hears since the proceeds will go to the substance abuse treatment program, which was created for the Abbott-Winters foundation in Neil’s name.
While Jack quickly gets on board with Devon’s idea, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will tackle Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) questions. Michael will have a feeling that Amanda’s relationship with Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) goes beyond one of a professional nature.
