The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) hopes are crushed. The Y&R new weekly preview for the week of November 1 to November 5 shows that when Abby is asked to identity Chance Chancellor’s (formerly Donny Boaz) wedding band, she crumbles and collapses. Abby’s grief becomes worse as she admits not knowing how to cope with her husband’s death.
Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor Collapses
Y&R spoilers reveal that Abby is asked to identify a personal item, which is a wedding band. Abby confirms that it belongs to Chance, but there is even worse news. Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) explains that being married was part of Chance’s cover, so he never took it off.
When Abby faces the grim reality of her situation, she collapses as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) catches her.
Y&R Spoilers: Victor Newman Takes Action
In the weekly preview, Victor takes action to help Abby. The Newman patriarch is deeply troubled over Abby’s grief and how it will affect both her and the baby. Taking action, he reaches out to someone that might be able to help Abby get through this crisis.
Calling Sharon Rosales
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that the person that Victor calls for help is Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). When Sharon shows up, Victor explains that a bomb went off and Chance is allegedly dead.
Sharon is horrified over the circumstances but explains that Abby is having a normal reaction to extreme trauma. Plus, she is a new mother to a fussy baby. Abby is already overwhelmed, exhausted and lonely, so the update on Chance is adding even more stress to her shoulders.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Grief Worsens
In the weekly preview, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) admits that she is really concerned about Abby. Victor and everyone else is worried, too. One person that is seen in the preview but doesn’t say anything is Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Despite Devon not saying a word, the expression on his face is clear. Devon is struggling to figure out how to help both Abby and the baby.
In one scene, Devon appears to be silently panicking as he looks at Abby, who is gripping her baby close while rocking back and forth with tears in her eyes.
Abby admits that she doesn’t know how she is going to go on. Can she be helped not just for her own sake, but to protect the baby?
