The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of November 1-5 tease that Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) downfall will begin while Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) faces a sad homecoming. Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will also struggle with her worst fear, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will remain determined to lead Billy into a trap that could sink ChancComm. While Victor does a little more plotting, someone surprising will show up at Billy and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) door.
It’s possible that’ll be Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones), but Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is the most likely option since her return will be a big part of November sweeps. Jill may not approve of the way Billy’s doing business these days and could be compelled to make some changes.
As for Victoria, she’ll fret over Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) condition. Ashland will be rapidly deteriorating with only a last-resort experimental treatment to give him hope – and even then, it won’t be much.
Although Ashland will pursue this option from Peru, Victoria will worry it won’t be enough to give them more time. The reality of Ashland’s illness and fate will bring some tough moments for Victoria in the week ahead.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be busy doing what he does best – and that’s giving out advice! Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will open up to Jack, who’ll lend a sympathetic ear and offer some guidance regarding family issues.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll need Jack to give it to her straight. Jack will offer an honest opinion about the way Phyllis is handling things with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), even if it’s a bit harsh.
Speaking of Nick, he’ll try to make progress when it comes to patching things up with Victoria.
Since Victoria will be hurting over Ashland’s decline, this could go one of two ways. Victoria might take her anger over the situation out on Nick, but he’d prefer if she leaned on him instead.
Perhaps Victoria will realize there are more important things to worry about than her grudge against her well-meaning brother.
While Nick fights to make amends, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will catch up with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). That’ll bring a moment between kindred souls and give Devon someone he can confide in.
As for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), she’ll crumble over not hearing from Chance Chancellor (soon-to-be Connor Floyd).
Despite Abby’s belief that Chance is still alive, she’ll struggle since he won’t reach out. The longer Abby goes without hearing from Chance, the more fearful she’ll become.
Abby will have an emotional meltdown as Victor and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) try to help her cope.
By the time Nina makes it back to Genoa City, she’ll find total mayhem waiting for her. In addition to dealing with grief over Chance’s presumed death, Nina will step up for Abby as much as she can.
Next, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will have a confession to make. She’ll admit something to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), so we’ll see if that relates to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor or perhaps Noah Newman (Rory Gibson).
Noah is fine with Mariah and Tessa’s romance now, but Mariah may feel guilty for contributing to one of his many heartbreaks over the years.
Since Mariah fell hard for her brother’s girlfriend once upon a time, that’s always going to be a complicated part of their shared history.
Other Y&R spoilers say Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will go on a fishing expedition. She’ll want info on Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), so she may grill Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and raise suspicions in the process.
Chloe may remind Sally that it’s not a good idea to pursue Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) romantically. Perhaps Chloe will start to understand Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) perspective and fret over Sally clashing with Chelsea upon her return to GC.
Back with Nikki, she’ll be taken aback when Adam changes his mind. Nikki may face concerns if Adam suddenly wavers on Victor’s latest ChancComm plan. Victor expects Adam to stay in line and stand with him, so we’ll see if he can make sure that happens.
Regardless, Billy will use a new strategy that Lily finds questionable. Lily won’t have a good feeling about what’s coming next, but Billy will think he has everything under control.
Finally, Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) will rile Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) up ahead of his trial. Amanda will battle more anger, so she’ll have to channel that into something positive through her pursuit of justice for Richard Nealon.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say some heated confrontations are on the way, so stay tuned.
