The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of November 22-26 tease that Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman) will take charge while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) find a reason to bond. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also face a surprise as she wakes up in bed and does some soul-searching, so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will pay Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) a visit at the penthouse, where she’ll gush over Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor and admire what Devon’s doing for his missing mom.
Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will still be off searching for Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd), so Devon will gladly care for Dominic in the meantime.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will remain supportive of Devon’s efforts to give Dominic a stable home environment during this difficult time. There’ll be some lovey-dovey moments between Devon and Amanda, but she’ll also hang out with Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) at Society.
Amanda and Imani may have a reason for a celebratory dinner if the jury convicts Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) as expected. Regardless, Thanksgiving is just around the corner, so Amanda will be grateful she was able to connect with her sister this year – and Imani will feel the same way.
As for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she won’t be feeling all that thankful due to the Dominic situation.
It’ll be hard for Mariah to watch Devon strengthen his bond with Dominic while she’s stuck on the outside looking in. Despite Elena’s cheerful attitude, Mariah just won’t share it as the holiday approaches.
At Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) place, they’ll let Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) in for a tense conversation. This could involve Ashland’s lawsuit and an attempt to get him to stand down.
Whatever the case, Ashland and Victoria will consider their future – perhaps in more ways than one. Victoria will hope Ashland’s new protocol gives him more time so they can keep building their combined empire together.
As for Lily, she’ll feel the need to make an emergency phone call.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) really needs to fly to Genoa City and help deal with all the ChancComm drama ASAP, so Lily may summon her – especially since Billy will be trying to step down and cut risky deals with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Gloria will don her Thanksgiving best and make a few waves. There’ll be some fun Gloria scenes as she takes charge like she always does!
At Crimson Lights, Sharon will get some help with her annual Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless. Nick will distract himself from his Phyllis woes and offer assistance to Sharon for a good cause.
Over with Phyllis, she’ll jolt awake in bed – presumably after some startling dream or nightmare. That could be Phyllis’ way of sorting through her feelings, especially the ones she still has for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
There’ll be a repeat of an episode from Ashland and Victoria’s wedding on Thursday, November 25, and Y&R fans can expect a preemption on Friday, November 26. Be sure to keep these programming notes in mind as you plan your holiday viewing!
