The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of November 8-12 teases that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will battle temptation while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) shuts Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) down. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will also be on the case as Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) heads down a dangerous path, so here’s what Y&R viewers can expect.
For starters, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will remain cagey about his desire to leave London behind – at least for now.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will grill Noah out of concern and curiosity, but he’ll suggest there are some things he’d rather keep to himself.
Noah will allude to some drama in his love life, but he’ll feel confident he can move past it once his heart heals.
As for Phyllis and Nick, they’ll be down in the dumps as well. Nick and Phyllis will run into each other for the first time since they broke up, so that’ll bring some uncomfortable moments at Society.
Although Phyllis will push for a real conversation about how to tell Summer Newman-Abbott (Hunter King) they’re over, Nick will bail before they can decide anything.
Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will lash out when Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) wants to bail on her own baby! He’ll ban Abby from taking a Spain trip since she’s needed there in Genoa City.
Mariah will jump at the chance to care for Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor in Abby’s absence, but Devon will feel like this child needs his mother.
Devon will hopefully get through to Abby, but he’ll still be concerned when he vents to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) later.
Amanda will feel stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to all the Abby and Dominic stuff. She won’t want Devon to feel like she’s being too pushy, but she’ll also think perhaps Devon’s going above and beyond the call of godfather duty.
Amanda will also deliver some powerful testimony, but will it be compelling enough to land Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) in prison?
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will hope they’ve both done enough to get Amanda the closure and payback she needs.
Over with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll exhaust all options before backing Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) up on his blackmail scheme.
Lily didn’t want to play dirty, but she’ll feel like they’ve run out of options when it comes fighting fair.
Billy will take great pleasure in threatening Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) with Camila Rhodes’ initial letter, which proved she left Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) with nothing.
The deal will be to call off ChancComm’s destruction or get blown out of the water, but more trouble’s brewing.
Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) is working for Victor now, so Adam will be as cool as a cucumber when Billy sinks as low as he can go.
Since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will give the green light on the next phase of Billy’s takedown, Billy will face a bombshell along with Lily.
Naturally, there’s always the potential for Gaines to double-cross Victor. Gaines could end up causing problems for both ChancComm and Newman Media by the time it’s all said and done, so we’ll see if he’s got any tricks up his sleeve.
Rey will definitely do a little detective work as he tries to get to the bottom of all the agendas in play here. He doesn’t trust Adam, but he’ll have some concerns about what Billy’s up to as well.
While Rey asks questions and snoops, Victor’s heart will break for Abby. He’ll be upset for his daughter and determined to get revenge since Chance Chancellor (soon-to-be Connor Floyd) was taken from Abby far too soon.
Victor will also examine a mysterious message with Adam, so we’ll see if that ties in with Billy’s threats or something else.
Abby will contact Nick for a favor, so we’ll see if he might take the lead on the Spain investigation or at least find some way to help with her search for Chance.
As for Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), she’ll sink further into a pit of despair since she’ll be more willing to believe Chance is dead.
Elsewhere, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will put his walls up and try to avoid getting too close to Phyllis following her Nick split.
Since Jack still loves Phyllis deeply, he’ll want to back off and give them all some breathing room before anything else happens.
That’s probably the best way to avoid temptation – and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will think Sally needs to avoid temptation, too.
Sally won’t think there’s any reason for Chloe to fret, but Chloe will fear all Sally and Adam’s banter is going to cause issues.
After Chloe insists the flirting has to stop once Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) returns, Sally will act like she’s clear on that.
Nevertheless, avoiding their usual charming conversation will be difficult for Sally and Adam. They’ll be on the verge of mixing business and pleasure again as November sweeps continues.
Next, Sally will pour salt in Phyllis’ wound when it comes to her breakup. Sally may think it’s odd that Jack’s also keeping his distance and wonder what Phyllis did to scare all the men in her life away!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Phyllis’ rivalry will rage on, so stay tuned.
