The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 18-22 tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will face some Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) devastation while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) gambles with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will also shock Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), so here’s what fans can expect.
In Tuscany, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have one more wedding gift for Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). It’ll be something extra special as Victoria and Ashland begin their new life together.
Later, Ashland and Victoria will spend some time planning their future. They don’t know how long Ashland will stick around due to his terminal illness, but Victoria will want to savor every moment with her new husband.
As for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), they’ll be stuck with a moral dilemma of some sort.
Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) offered a whopper of a true story that Ashland himself has admitted to.
Billy might be tempted to let the world know Ashland built his empire on stolen funds, but that would further damage Billy’s relationship with Victoria.
It’d hurt the merger Victoria worked so hard on as well, so it’s tough to imagine Billy will actually cross that line.
Lily may agree the story needs to stay buried for good. As for Gaines, this threat will be neutralized one way or another. Victor will make sure of that, so that could be part of his wedding present for Victoria and Ashland.
Regardless, Nick will finish one faceoff and prepare for another one. After dealing with Gaines, Nick will spar with Victor as they tackle their latest issues.
Victor wasn’t pleased over Nick’s decision to go behind Victoria’s back and dig up Ashland dirt. He may also feel like Nick’s being too pushy about seeking Victoria’s forgiveness.
Although Victor certainly wants to see his children getting along, he may feel like Nick needs to be a bit more patient with his sister.
Nikki will intervene in the father-son conflict eventually, so we’ll see if she can help Victor and Nick make some progress.
Back with Lily and Billy, they’ll decide it’s best to hightail it home and put all the Newman chaos behind them.
In the meantime, Sally will spot Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) opening up to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) in a close moment.
Sally still hates Phyllis’ guts and won’t hesitate to use Phyllis’ bond with Jack against her if the need arises. Although Sally’s trying to take the high road, Phyllis has a knack for pushing people over the edge.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also be there for Sally as she copes with the lack of recognition from the Newmans. Sally’s dress won’t be praised like she feels it should be, but Adam’s approval will mean a lot.
A steamy lip lock is on the way for Adam and Sally, but we’ll see if that escalates to even more. Sally will take a risk that might pay off with the man she wants!
Back in Genoa City, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will confront Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about the dress swap.
Chloe will have to admit she supported Sally’s plan, which made it so Victoria wore Sally’s dress instead of the one from Lauren’s designer.
Next, Adam will get some advice from Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Devon will somehow lead Adam down the right path, but we’ll see Deacon face some struggles of his own. Y&R spoilers say Devon will express frustration, so this may be over Abby’s lonely situation.
Abby will put on a brave face, but Devon will see right through it. The longer Abby goes without Chance in the picture, the more pain she’ll be in.
Devon will think it’s getting ridiculous for Chance to be gone this long, especially when they agreed to start a family together.
However, Abby will get some stunning news from Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) later. It seems likely Chance will be presumed dead or at least will have fallen completely off the map.
Abby will face a harsh new reality where Chance may never come home to her, so she’ll have to lean on Devon as well as Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
As for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she’ll try to give Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) a warm welcome home.
Of course, conflict could erupt all over again once Mariah inevitably brings up wanting to have a baby. Mariah is really stuck on this plan and just won’t listen to what Tessa has to say.
Finally, Sharon is in for a shock when Noah returns to Genoa City. Sharon will be over the moon when Noah reveals he intends to stick around and rebuild his life there in town.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Noah’s comeback will come with some curveballs, so stay tuned.
