The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of October 18-22 teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will warn that Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) crimes are about to be exposed to the world. Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be on the verge of falling apart unless something changes between them.
For starters, Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will face a difficult decision. Thanks to Jesse Gaines’ (Jamison Jones) video detailing Ashland’s crimes and offering proof, there’ll be a major threat to the merger.
Gaines will be determined to release that video globally within the hour, but he’ll give Billy a chance to publish the story first. Billy will point out that the world’s going to find out Ashland’s secrets no matter what.
In some ways, it might be better for Billy to publish and try to contain things as much as possible.
Billy could even put a spin on it and try to soften the blow. However, Lily will fret over Victoria’s reaction – and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will walk over in time to realize something’s wrong.
Billy may not give Jack the full scoop, but Jack will probably realize his brother’s dealing with a lose-lose situation.
Victoria’s going to get hurt no matter what, but it might hurt worse if Billy leads the charge against Ashland.
That’s something Billy will have to consider as well. Billy may end up deciding that he has to stay out of this and let the chips fall where they may.
Of course, that could give Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) an opportunity to be the ultimate fixer.
Victor will give Victoria and Ashland an unusual wedding gift, so that might involve whatever tactic he uses to deal with Gaines.
Regardless, Victoria will battle concerns as she grills Victor about how Gaines was handled. She’ll worry that Gaines may have to be handled again, but Victor might push his daughter to just enjoy her new husband.
Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers point to plenty of happy moments for Victoria and Ashland as they celebrate their future. They won’t let anything stand in the way of looking ahead.
Next, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will guess that maybe people are warming up to Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) charms. “The only person that I’m interested in winning over right now is you,” Sally admits to Adam in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
That leads to a sizzling kiss between Adam and Sally, so things are definitely about to heat up! Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Nick and Phyllis.
In her room at the palazzo with Nick, Phyllis will address the added tension between them. She’ll feel like they’re either going to move forward and work out – or everything’s going to fall apart.
Back in Genoa City, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) won’t be able to avoid the topic of Victoria’s wedding dress swap.
As Chloe sits at Society with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart), Lauren will demand the explanation she’s owed right NOW.
Chloe will deliver the news of Sally’s plan and hope Lauren can understand the bride’s big day mattered most.
Victoria got the ideal dress for her, so Chloe will push Lauren to accept things worked out for the best. Even so, Lauren is bound to be irritated over Sally and Chloe scheming behind her back.
Y&R spoilers say Sally could face Lauren’s fury herself sooner or later, so stay tuned.
