The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of October 4-8 teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will face Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) crime confession while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) plots an Italy takeover – at least when it comes to what Victoria will be wearing for this special occasion!
Victoria will try to get past Ashland stealing his dead friend’s identity, but doubts will remain in the back of her mind.
The real problem is Ashland keeps insisting there are no more secrets – and then another massive one always rears its ugly head.
Victoria shouldn’t be surprised by now, but she keeps signing up for shocking blow after shocking blow.
Ashland will drop the worst bomb of all shortly before they’re set to get married in Tuscany. He normally doesn’t confess unless he’s backed into a corner, so something may happen to force this stunning big reveal.
Then again, it’s possible Ashland will decide to finally show Victoria some respect and tell her the whole truth before they tie the knot.
Either way, Victoria will realize there’s something else Ashland hasn’t divulged – something that could prove catastrophic if it became public knowledge.
“Does this have to do with an actual crime?” Victoria asks Ashland in Y&R’s weekly preview video. “It does,” Ashland replies.
Victoria then pushes Ashland to tell her everything, but who even knows if he will? How can Victoria ever trust that all the secrets have been spilled at this point?
Whatever the case, Ashland will definitely admit something horrible that’ll put the wedding in jeopardy.
It looks like Victoria will have no personal interest in committing to this deceptive, immoral man anymore. Unfortunately, Victoria will feel like she has to ignore what her heart’s telling her.
Victoria will decide her priority has to be avoiding attention and a scandal.
Now that the Newman-Locke merger has gone down, they could be tied to Ashland’s criminal activity and land in hot water. Not to mention the bad press would be disastrous!
Victoria will stick to marrying Ashland despite the tension that’s beyond evident between them. Of course, Victoria will still need a bridal gown she approves of.
Sally will determine that if she can’t bring Victoria to the dress, then she’ll just bring the dress to Victoria.
That means Sally will take her mind-blowing gown all the way to Tuscany with the help of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and the Newman jet.
Sally will hope to get the dress in Victoria’s hands without tying herself to it, so it sounds like she’ll ultimately pull off her goal.
Next, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will continue to fret over Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s well-being.
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will remind Mariah that the baby is in amazing hands and won’t want her girlfriend to worry.
However, Mariah will argue that she can’t just stop caring about Dominic because they don’t live in the same house anymore.
Tessa will try to approach this situation with patience and compassion, but Mariah needs a real therapist more and more every day!
