The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of September 13-17 teases that Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) confession will rock Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) – and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will be terrified of Ben “Stitch” Rayburn’s (Sean Carrigan) return.
First, Ashland will admit he hasn’t been completely honest with Victoria. He won’t be able to outrun his past for much longer thanks to Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) decision to dig deep.
Billy will fill Victoria in on what appears to be Ashland’s scrubbed history. He’ll point out some strange things – like the fact that Ashland has no birth certificate and there’s no record of his parents’ deaths.
As for Ashland, he’ll also battle concerns about a text from someone who seems to know his true identity. Between that communication and Billy’s latest info, Ashland will have no choice but to confess – though it’s doubtful he’ll tell Victoria everything!
Still, Ashland will at least have to sit Victoria down and explain a few things. Victoria will be rather upset since she already asked if there were any secrets she needed to know – and Ashland said no.
However, Ashland will contend that this was something he hoped Victoria would never need to know. Ashland will ultimately make a confession that catches Victoria off guard and leaves her with even more questions.
Victoria just won’t feel like she really knows Ashland at all after he shares this new information, so this will make their relationship a bit rocky ahead of the wedding.
Although Victoria will try to understand and may put on a brave face, she’ll become one unsettled bride-to-be!
Mariah will make a confession of her own at the Chancellor mansion, where she’ll be in tears with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
Tessa will realize Mariah’s terrified that Stitch might come back. Mariah won’t be satisfied with all the reassurance about beefed up security and promises that Stitch wouldn’t risk it.
Since there’s a chance everyone could be wrong, Mariah will be deeply concerned – both for herself and Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor.
Of course, this will highlight the bond Mariah feels with the baby and all the motherly instincts she’s dealing with right now.
Mariah is an emotional wreck and will remain one as she gears up for Dominic’s christening ceremony, which will lead to a big decision.
Speaking of big decisions, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will realize he might be facing one in his relationship.
Nick just won’t be able to shake the idea that what Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) implied was right – that he might be settling for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
When Nick runs into Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at Crimson Lights, he’ll ask a surprising question.
“Do Phyllis and I seem like a good fit to you?” Nick wonders in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
Jack will understandably be quite uncomfortable since he’s secretly still in love with Phyllis himself! He’ll have to answer as best as he can and try to avoid raising red flags.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick and Phyllis’ romance could be headed downhill fast, so stay tuned.
