The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of September 27-October 1 teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will manage to get himself uninvited to the wedding while Victor Newman (Amelia Heinle) busts Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will also lie to Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Moses will grow suspicious when Faith makes an excuse to dodge their date. Faith could barely stand the suspense of waiting the last time they talked, so it’ll be weird when she suddenly claims she has to work.
Moses knows Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) would surely let her own daughter have the night off, so he’ll wonder what’s really going on here.
Of course, Faith has battled some nerves along the way since this is her first real romance. Maybe Faith is just cracking under the pressure and letting her insecurities get the best of her.
Regardless, Moses will push Faith to be honest about why she’s backing out and hope he can convince her to go on that date after all.
Meanwhile, Victoria will get updates on Nick taking the jet to New Jersey, so she’ll corner Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and demand some answers.
Victoria will no doubt assume this pertains to Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past since those two news stations were at Toms River, but Phyllis may fib about it involving Nick’s charity work or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, Victoria won’t buy what Phyllis is selling and will plan to confront Nick about his investigation upon his return.
Nick will come back with bombshells regarding the real Ashland Locke and Ashland’s true identity of Bobby Defranco, so there’ll be a lot to discuss!
As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll put relentless Billy on full blast.
Nikki will fear Billy’s going to spoil Victoria’s big day if she doesn’t intervene, so she’ll be in full mama bear mode when she offers a warning.
“Back the hell off, Billy,” Nikki insists in Y&R’s weekly preview video. “NOW! And do us all a massive favor: don’t show your face at the wedding. You’re no longer welcome.”
It’s up to Victoria whether she wants Billy there or not, but she may side with Nikki if she feels he’s a genuine threat.
