The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and The Beautiful and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the two soaps are set for a fun story crossover collision – and a new crossover preview of the two week event offers a glimpse at what’s ahead. Several characters will be involved in this crossover event, so let’s look at who’s in the latest promo and talk about the looming shockers.
The preview video kicks off with Michael Mealor (Y&R’s Kyle Abbott) and Darin Brooks (B&B’s Wyatt Spencer) introducing this soapy crossover. Hunter King (Y&R’s Summer Newman) then chimes in to explain a bit more.
“We need to get out of the cold Genoa City winter and head to sunny LA to do a little business and get the real scoop,” King says. “Oh, there is so much to tell,” Katrina Bowden (The Bold and the Beautiful’s Flo Fulton) adds.
There’s a clip of Wyatt introducing Summer to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) at Spencer Publications. There’s also a clip toward the end that shows Kyle has joined Summer in Los Angeles. Summer seems confident as she talks about the situation being a “win-win.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will remain convinced Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is bad news, so she’ll want to gather more info. That’s why Summer will plan this trip to LA and hope to get some updates on Sally’s whole story.
Wyatt, Flo and Bill can certainly help fill in some of the Sally blanks since they’ve dealt with Sally and all her shenanigans. Although Wyatt will think Sally deserves a chance at a fresh start, Summer may argue that Sally’s already blowing it. She might insist Sally’s just going to do more damage if they don’t thwart her latest plot.
That brings us to some Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, which indicate Flo will be given a tempting offer. Wyatt will encourage Flo to stop and think before she helps Summer with Sally’s takedown. Nevertheless, revenge can be awfully sweet!
Part of Flo will like the idea of making Sally pay for her mistakes, especially if Sally’s on the verge of making even more.
As for Bill, he just might get a favor in return for helping Summer achieve her goal. Since Summer alludes to a “win-win” in the promo, maybe that’ll involve a win for Bill and her own win against Sally.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will get assistance from a couple of unexpected allies in his fight to reunite with Katie Logan (Heather Tom). Perhaps Summer and Kyle will play Cupid for Bill as a “thank you” once they get the Sally intel they’re looking for.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say all these characters will mix it up in Sally-related storylines over the next two weeks. The fun will kick off during the week of January 11-15, so stay tuned.
