In tonight’s Unexpected episode, Myrka is having contractions. Ethan’s mom and Ethan bring them to the hospital. Michelle wishes Myrka’s mom would step up. Myrka did call her mom but she doesn’t care, she isn’t excited or supportive. Myrka and Ethan are happy they have his parents. They arrive at the ER. Michelle tries to go in with them. She isn’t allowed.
Lilly is 25 weeks. She is out to eat with her daughter and mom. Her daughter is 3 and acting very naughty. She loves being bad. Her boyfriend Laurence wants the baby to be disciplined. Lilly’s mom wishes the kids would all end up with the same last night. Lilly hopes to marry Laurence. Her mom hopes it all works out.
Aden and his mom meet for breakfast. She asks about Jenna. He tells her he has no clue. They got into a fight. He never gets mad but when he does he is angry. He talks about how bad Jenna’s mom is. Aden’s mom tells him he needs to be supportive. She wants to try and get through the hurdles without the drama.
Tyra is headed to Miami with her cheer team. She misses Layla but still wants to have fun. She also gets a break from Alex. They haven’t been seeing eye to eye. She is sick of feeling stressed out by him and just needs the sun and the sand.
Myrka is dancing around in the hospital to try and make the baby come. Ethan makes her get into bed. She starts to dilate and makes it to 4. Ethan asks how far they need to get. The doctor shares 10. His eyes go wide. He wishes his parents were with them.
Myrka wishes her mom wanted to be around. She is in a lot of pain, crying from the pain radiating all the way down her bottom half. Ethan asks for meds for her. The nurse tells them they need to wait a little longer. Watching her in pain really upsets Ethan.
It is baby shower day for Jenna. She is having a drive-thru baby shower. She is okay with all of this and covid because she didn’t miss out on anything. She was initially upset about the prom and graduating but it was all canceled. Jenna’s mom, her dad, and step-mom are really trying to get along.
Jenna only invited 2 friends from school. She doesn’t want others to gossip about her. She feels ready though to be a mom and feels like Aden is also as ready as he is going to be.
Jenna’s mom tells her she invited her elementary school friend. Jenna doesn’t want her to come. They get into a fight about it. Aden doesn’t intervene. Jenna’s dad is also annoyed. Jenna’s mom tells them she is leaving. Later, Jenna and her dad get into a fight reflecting on the baby shower moment when she and her mom got into a fight. He tells him to shut up when he bashes her mom. Aden sits there rolling his eyes.
Tyra is thrilled she is in Miami, cheering for college. After their game, they head to the beach. Tyra pals around with a guy from the boy’s basketball team as they swim, play football, and more. She wants to stay in Miami for a while. She is enjoying her break. She does miss Alex though and doesn’t really think about other guys. He is home to her. Meanwhile, Myrka is in severe pain as she continues to be in labor.
