Vanessa moves out of her sister’s house to better her life and the life of her son. Vanessa is renting her own house. Later, they arrive at their new home and are all excited but scared. Megan is there too. She is so proud of Vanessa for getting away from Jackie who is an enabler. They talk about going to the beach and having fun. They all plan to go to Florida.
Megan goes to the park with Tina and her kids. Tina doesn’t think she needs bariatric surgery but Megan disagrees. She is out of breath playing with her kids. Megan lists all of the great things that can happen from having surgery. Tina cannot help but think the worst will happen.
The ladies go to get spray tans. Megan is scared. Naked is not her forte. She asks if they can all do it together. The salon employee agrees. Megan shows off her too-big undies. Vanessa goes first and then to Tina. Megan is scared to go. She starts to cry. Tina thought that maybe if she went first it would have helped Megan. The spray artist needs to use more solutions as she cheers the ladies on. They need to get out of their comfort zone to change. Vanessa worries about going to the beach with Megan because she is so afraid of showing skin.
The ladies head out on their trip. After traveling on the road they arrive at their rental with bear views. They are all so happy. They are ready to party, popping a bottle and enjoying drinks outside. Megan drinks half the bottle of champagne. The ladies worry about Megan since she is not watching her calories. She has a weigh-in soon.
The next day the ladies wear their raincoats and bathing suits to the beach. They ride a little golf cart. Megan is nervous about going to the beach. They stop at a gift shop and buy t-shirts. They get them airbrushed with all their names on the back. Later, they get dressed up and hit the bar. Megan is feeling self-conscious and drinking a lot. She drinks too much they need to leave early after just an hour because Megan is so drunk. Tina is annoyed. She doesn’t get to go out much and was having fun.
The ladies arrive home after Tina tells Megan to get it together. They all sit and talk. Vanessa tells Megan how beautiful she is. She needs to stop trying to trade one addiction for another. Megan cries. She doesn’t love herself. They are all worried about her and what she is doing to herself.
