In tonights 1000-lb Sister episode, its moving day for Amy. She has a friend help her and Michael. Tammy stays in her house and doesn’t help. Amy is so stressed. Tammy is jus not helpful. She could have come to talk and pass the time as they packed. Amy peeks in and says goodbye to her. Amy doesn’t say much.
The next day, Amanda comes over and helps Amy fold laundry. Amy talks about her plans for furniture. Chris brings over his old table. He puts it together. Since his surgery he is physically able to do more. They all sit after. Amy has to go to see Dr. Proctor. Chris is going to see his doctor tomorrow. He calls Tammy. He asks if she is going to the doctor. She says no. They don’t know what to do. She has been drinking and smoking now. She is getting worse.
Chris decides to ask the doctor what they can do to motivate Tammy. Amanda thinks it is sad they may have to make final arrangement for her. Amy sits looking sad at the thought.
Chris heads to the doctors without Tammy. They talk about his progress and also how bad Tammy has been with her health. She isn’t trying to hide her bad habits.
Amy is having her sisters and her mom over. She loves her new house. She also sent their samples in to ancestry to see if they really are related to the Queen. Their mom used to tell them that. Everyone arrives. Amy learns she is English, Swedish and more. Tammy and her mom sit in the van. They cannot get into the house. Amy plans to build a ramp for them soon.
Amy is outed after Amanda sees an ovulation kit in her bathroom. They discuss her getting pregnant again. She might want to wait and lose some weight first, they suggest. Tammy starts to feel bad. She tells them she is hurting.
The next day, Michael and Amy head to Georgia to see her doctor. They fly there. Its her first time and she can fit in the seat. Its tight but she can do it. They arrive to see Dr. Proctor. Amy explains her recent move and how she hasn’t been able to eat great. He wants her to weigh in. She weighs in at 275. He tells her she needs to buckle down and try again. They talk about Tammy. She is getting worse. The doctor is concerned.
Amy discusses how she wants to be a mom for a second time. The doctor wants to test her after she shares she has been eating food that is weird.
Amanda pays Tammy a visit. She gives her a pep talk and then gives her a quilt her grandmother had. Tammy cries. She was close to her. Amanda just wants Tammy to live a happy long healthy life.
Amy buys a pregnancy test. She shows Michael the results.
