In tonight’s 9-1-1- Lone Star Grace was trapped in a car with Billy of all people. Though to be fair to Billy, he did suggest that they take his car to go to the hospital once they both realized she was in labor and she ignored him. She insisted she could drive herself. Billy came too because he knew how dangerous it was if something happened to her on the road. He went with her and by that he literally jumped into her car and refused to get out no matter how much she asked. He got in. He was with her as she was doing an admirable job of driving and they got stuck in the snow. Some people had abandoned their cars in the storm. They had known it was too risky to drive in such weather and so Grace being unable to navigate was entirely on her.

Grace tried to get around the cars. She got stuck in the snow and so again it was all on her. She should have stayed home. She could have called for help while there. She couldn’t from the car because the cell towers were down and she couldn’t even call her husband to tell him she was in labor much less call for help. Billy had to get out of the car to see if he could get help. It was a good thing he was with her or else she’d have been on her own in a crisis. Billy went for help. He tried getting back to the house to get to his system in the car. Billy was doing that while Owen was looking for him.

Owen returned to town to find out about his son. There wasn’t much he could do for TK. It was up to TK to decide if he wants to fight or not and so Owen did the only thing he could do. He signed the letter of apology. He decided to fight for his job. He went looking for Billy and it’s a good thing he did. Billy never made it back to his car. It had been too far in a weather too severe and so he find some place close by where he and Grace could go to get warm. It was a tour bus. It wasn’t really sterile, but it did work and it was big enough to navigate all the obstacles in their path. There was just one problem. It didn’t have gas.

Billy grabbed a tube from the beer keg. He went out to other cars and he siphoned off the gas they needed. He managed to get the gas into the tour bus. He turned on the vehicle. He turned on the heater. He then passed out. Billy had consumed more than a bit of the diesel and he wasn’t well. Grace noticed it. She asked him if he was okay because she noticed his eyes were glassy and he said was right before he passed out. Grace was therefore practically alone as she was giving birth. Billy couldn’t assist her or deliver her baby and so it’s a good thing Owen tracked down Billy’s car and noticed that Billy and Grace were both gone.

Owen called Judd. Judd told about the hospital bag and Owen checked for it with Tommy’s help and together they told Judd that the bag wasn’t there. They realized Grace went into labor. They went looking for her on the road and later found the car abandoned, but they were able to hear Grace’s screams and they traced it back to the tour bus. They arrived not a moment too soon. Billy had just woken back up and still was unstable on his feet. Tommy was fully trained. She later delivered a baby and someone who managed to arrive there just in time to witness it all was Judd. And so the happy family welcomed their daughter into the world.

Owen had cried after hearing the baby crying. It reminded him of his son’s birth. Owen hadn’t been there, but he later learned that his son woke up after his boyfriend went on a rant on everything they did wrong to him in his coma and so that was enough to get him to wake up. TK didn’t even mind that Carlos essentially got all of stuff and moved him into the apartment without him knowing. TK was just glad to be with him again. He joined the others later when they went to go witness their old firehouse get torn down. Only something occurred before the bulldozers could do their work. Someone donated enough money to them to save their firehouse.

The person who saved the firehouse was the wealthy dad. The one who makes milk cartons. He was so grateful for them saving his daughter that he donated the money they needed to recreate the 126 and of course they invited him to the ceremony they held to reopen their firehouse. He came with his family. Billy also came. He got to hold little Charlie. Judd and Grace named her that in honor of Tommy’s late husband. And she was growing more everyday.

THE END!
