Tonights Billions episode begins with Prince rock climbing, he misses his grab and falls way down. He tries twice, and the same thing happens.
Chuck is at home, he is watching TV and enjoying a night cap when he comes up with an idea.
The next day, Prince arrives in the office and tells them big retailers are playing dirty. He is talking specifically about Rask Sportswear Inc, and the owner Stewart Rask. Prince wants to bring its stock down.
Chuck is in a hotel and notices how the doorman sneaks out a guests mistress just before his wife arrives, this gives Chuck an idea.
Chuck has new war and it is not going to be waged at the office. Chuck shows up at the Doorman & Custodial Union – RSWU 3ONE meeting, he wants to get them hazard back pay for the extra time they put in during the pandemic. He tells them that they are so busy making sure everyone else lives their best lives that they don’t take care of themselves. He finally gets them on his side.
Taylor has evidence brought to her that there are dirtier companies out there than Rask, but she wants to sit on it for now because Prince is not the same as Axe.
Chuck then goes to a meeting for the union, they are offered 2% raise. Chuck says no, he wants 5% or this is a cruel charade. Chuck ruffles feathers, especially with Bid Lazar, a real estate tycoon, and the group walks out. Chuck proposes a strike to the president of the union.
Taylor goes to Wendy, she asks her if this is a test from Prince. Wendy tells her that if she has doubts to speak to Prince.
It works, going on social media and showing the world that Rask is unethical causes their sponsors to drop them and their stock to drop.
Chuck goes to see Lazar, he brings him a bill for hazard pay from the doormen, and they expect timely payment.
Taylor goes back to see Wendy, she says she has an HR matter, she is going to fire Ryan for directly disobeying her orders. She took several positions she told her not to take. Wendy tells her it is not a good thing to fire Ryan, she is just doing it because her feelings are hurt and it is something that Axe would do if he was in her shoes.
Wags goes in to see Wendy and confesses that he is old pals with Stewart Rask, they met at a rock camp. They are kindred spirits, rock Gods from another life. And, the stock is about to rebound very soon. He negotiated a buyout so Prince could profit off the short but then he added a part two. Wags, along with Taylor and Wendy go to see Prince, and Wags tells him what he did. Prince tells him that he ruined his play. Prince tells Wags that he created this problem, he needs to fix it. Wags says he can’t do dirty to Stewart. Scooter tells Wags to act like he is on the team.
Chuck’s father asks him what he is up to now, he says he is raging war on the billionaires and starting with the doormen. His father warns him about Lazar and tells him that he is formidable.
Andie storms into the office to see Prince, she tells him that he does not get to unilaterally decide the path of her life. He got involved with her sponsor and she was already winning. She tells him to give up on the relationship. She tells him that if he is making some big move here, be really sure he has his footing, because they are tied to the same rope and if he peels off, he takes her down with him.
Chuck is advised that the strike is called off, this means he has to crawl back to Lazar now. They settled at 2%, Chuck tells Lazar that he has a video, and he does, of Lazar paying off the president of the union. Chuck says if the doormen get 5% he won’t leak the story.
Rask is tanking, Wags killed the buyout and fed it to the dogs. Stewart calls Wags, he kicked him out of the band.
Chuck went to the press, he is going to turn Lazar against him even more. Kate is worried about him, but he reassures her they are going to have some big wins and needs her, his MVP.
Wendy goes to see Taylor, she says she sees she didn’t fire Ryan. Taylor tells her that Prince’s chessboard is not just about the markets. Wendy thinks they should proceed with caution, he thinks he is better than everyone else and he won’t stop until he gets everything that he wants.
THE END!
