Tonight’s episode begins with two perpetrators rolled up in a van robbed the victim, wore black masks, Alan Josephson, at gun point, fired one shot.

Danny and Maria question Alan, they stole his watch that costs $900k. He says he is friends with the mayors wife, and they better find his watch.

Jamie is told that Annette Jennings is being promoted to detective, he has to recruit her replacement. It is a test, he needs to identify and nurture talent. Whoever he chooses, he owns them, sink or swim.

Erin has a big win the the Green case, and when he copped a plea he gave a name of an accomplice, James Baxter, she is taxed with interviewing.

Officer Lester is called into Frank’s office, Sid is with him. Twenty months ago he was cleared in the shooting death of Lewis Lamar, the mayor has requested the department to reopen the case. Lamar’s family has been pressuring city hall to reopen the case. Lester says that Lamar’s car matched the description of a car used in a robbery, he pulled him over and keep his hands on the wheel. He reached in his jacket. He hates what happened, it eats him alive, but if it happened again tomorrow, he would do the same thing. He did his duty and he is doing his best to live with the fallout. Frank thanks him for coming in and will be in touch.

Erin is questioning Baxter with Anthony beside her and the guy’s lawyer. She show’s him a photo of Green, who confessed to a robbery at a bank. She then shows a photo of Mia Dultry, she was killed with a stray bullet from Green’s gun and named Baxter as an accomplice. Erin tells him that if he admits his guilt she will get him a reduced sentence. He says no way and walks out of the room.

Maria says there are a string of robberies targeting luxury watches. Danny says no watch is worth that kind of money, thats the cost of a three bedroom house.

Jamie asks Cooper if he is interested in filling a new spot, he says yes.

Maria and Danny speak to a woman who says two men with masks came out of nowhere, they wanted her watch. She had a gun that she brought for protection, she pulled it out and was shot. Her watch was worth $200k.

Anthony and Erin disagree on the Baxter case. Mia Dultry’s mother comes in and Anthony has sympathy and sends her to Erin’s office without her knowing about it in advance.

Danny and Maria have a man, Richard Patel visit them, his family owns a newsstand in midtown, two guys with masks stole his watch when he was opening up. He says the watch had sentimental value, it was only worth $100.

Officer Lester goes to the Lamar home and tells them he thinks about Lewis every day. His mother tells him that he doesn’t know the meaning of pain. Sid was following Lamar to keep an eye on him and he tells Lamar to get going.

Jamie has a man in custody, Brent Hellar, he was watching his girlfriends baby when she was at work. The baby had signs of being shaken and was taken to the hospital. He asks Officer Cooper take a chance with the guy o get him to give it up.

Danny stops by a jewellery store, several of the stolen watches were purchased there. He speaks to Teddy Marx, senior sales associate. During their conversation, Teddy mentions the recent robbery that hadn’t been reported yet.

Cooper is back in the room with Brent, he gets him to confess.

Jamie sees Cooper at the front desk, his partner got shot on the side, when he pushed Cooper to the side to save him.

Teddy is in the station with Danny, he says he met this guy who approached him, after he make the sale he gives this guy the name, address and make of the watch. He split the profit wit them and the client puts it on their insurance and gets another watch. Danny tells him he is in a lot of trouble.

At Sunday dinner, Sean says he lost a bet and has to dress up as Britney Spears and there is a twerking contest. Erin says cross-dressing at Halloween runs in the family, Danny says it was just one time.

Frank later has a drink with Henry, Danny and Jamie walk in. They talk about the Lester case. Henry says if you stay on the job long enough someone is going to point a finger. Frank says Lester handed in his papers, end of tour. But he threw the book at him.

Danny goes undercover with Maria when two guys come in a store with masks on a rob Danny’s watch, little do they know the door locked when they came in and they can’t get out. They got them.

Erin and Anthony sit down with Green, she wants to talk about Baxter. He says the dctective said she would give him a deal if he gave up Baxter, so he gave them what they wanted.

Crawford tells Erin that the mayor is ticked off that Baxter didn’t get charged. Erin accuses her of knowing Baxter was innocent and she gave her the case on purpose.

Cooper’s partner is going to be ok. Jamie tells hm that Cooper is no longer a candidate for the new job, he is instead.

Danny gets Patel’s watch back and turns out the watch he thought was worth $100 is worth $175k.

Lester is called to meet with Frank and his team. Frank asks him to stand by his side at a press conference. They went over his case again, and he was cleared yet again. Frank is going to declare his findings again at the press conference. But still, the family could file a civil suit, and come hell or high water, Frank will stand by his side. He says his son said he was less than generous in not accepting his resignation, but if he still wants to give it, he will accept it now. Lester says, let’s do this. Frank thanks him.
