DOOL fans know Ava has expressed concern about Allie and Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) close bond.
Ava realizes Chanel and Allie were more than friends at one point, so she’s been protective of Tripp’s heart.
Of course, Ava later admitted she was perhaps projecting her own relationship issues.
It’s clear that this whole situation with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has affected Ava’s view of love in general.
Nevertheless, Ava eventually decided she was happy if Tripp was happy.
Ava gave Tripp’s marriage proposal idea her seal of approval by handing over a family heirloom ring – one Ava’s grandmother gifted her just before she died.
Days is really playing up this sentimental angle so that it’ll be even worse when Allie’s betrayal comes to light.
Tripp will certainly be devastated over Allie’s secret hookup and all the lies she’s told to keep it under wraps.
Tripp will also be furious since Allie made him think she was committed to their future together.
Allie may protest that she’s all in now, but that won’t erase what happened with Chanel after the wedding party.
Whether Tripp breaks up with Allie or ultimately offers another chance, Days spoilers say Ava will feel the need to step up here.
Ava will surely want payback over Tripp’s heartbreak.
If Tripp somehow finds it in his heart to forgive Allie, Ava may become determined to drive them apart.
Ava may go by that “once a cheater, always a cheater” motto.
Regardless, Ava will no doubt want her grandmother’s ring back.
Ava seems poised to put Allie on full blast and perhaps make her another target as the Rafe drama winds down.
Ava may wiggle out of any legal trouble when it comes to Rafe’s frame job and shift her focus to getting revenge on Allie next.
Allie has been worried about Tripp’s cheating reaction, but Ava is the one who could pose a legitimate threat!
