Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) and Tony DiMera’s (Thaao Penghlis) long-lost daughter could be revealed. What if Renee DuMonde (Philece Sampler) wasn’t a baby killer after all?
DOOL fans know Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) believes she’s the real Renee due to the diary she read.
That’s been bringing a lot of Renee’s history up again – especially her feud with Anna and deep love for Tony.
“Renee” talked about drilling a hole in the boat Anna was on and causing the death of the baby she was carrying.
Meanwhile, Anna made her big movie pitch to TR Coates (William Christian) and mentioned Renee would be the villain.
That led to Anna emphasizing Renee was a baby killer, but there’s the potential for Days to undo that.
Stories get rewritten all the time, especially stories from decades ago where people are hazy on the details anyway.
DOOL viewers have seen plenty of characters killed and brought back through soapy explanations.
Even if there had to be some ahead-of-its-time DiMera doctor wizardry that saved Anna’s baby from the womb, anything goes on Days!
Anna wound up talking to TR about Carrie Brady Reed (Christie Clark) and how she regretted keeping Carrie from her father for the first four years of her life.
Anna praised the relationship Carrie and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) have now before pushing TR to fight hard for his own recently discovered daughter.
It’d be interesting if all this talk about secret daughters led to a shocking revelation.
What if Tony and Anna’s baby somehow survived? That baby could be all grown up – just waiting to reunite with her biological parents down the road.
Soaps love to bring long-lost children into the picture – just like when Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) found out Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was his biological daughter through a different rewrite.
It might be Tony and Anna’s turn to meet their own long-lost daughter next.
A son is also a possibility, but a daughter makes more sense considering that conversation Anna had with TR.
In addition to being an exciting story for Tony and Anna, this could put a new DiMera woman in the mix and shake things up for the family.
Of course, there’s no guarantee Days will take advantage of this opportunity, but it’s fun to ponder the idea.
