Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) may demand the Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) truth from Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and accuse this inmate of murder during an escape that night.
On DOOL’s June 10 episode, Gwen ranted about wanting Abigail dead and pushed Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to stab her.
Leo insisted that was too extreme – though he’s obviously got his own situation going on that makes him look rather guilty now.
However, we want to focus on Gwen since she later made a phone call and asked someone for help.
There’s a good chance that someone was Ava – and it seems likely Gwen arranged a little field trip out of prison.
Gwen couldn’t be found during bed check and seemingly lied about being in a corner of the library sleeping. The guards checked there, so it’s doubtful they truly would’ve missed Gwen during a search.
Assuming that Gwen indeed escaped briefly, Ava is the only person who’d be capable of making that happen and would actually be willing to do it.
Since Ava is partially responsible for Gwen’s stint behind bars, she owed her a favor.
There’s still some semblance of an alliance since turning on Gwen was nothing personal for Ava. T
aking down Gwen simply helped Ava cut a deal, so she did what she had to do.
Ava must’ve helped Gwen escape the night Abigail was stabbed – no questions asked. Nevertheless, questions could come in the aftermath as word of Abigail’s murder spreads.
Days spoilers say Ava will visit Gwen during the week of June 13-17 and no doubt wonder if Gwen committed yet another crime.
Ava may demand to know if Gwen turned her into an accomplice by murdering Abby while she was out of the slammer.
There’ll be good reasons for Ava to be concerned since she doesn’t want to land back in prison herself – not to mention Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will be pretty broken up about the death of his brother’s wife.
Jake will comfort Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and rant about who could’ve done such a thing, so Ava’s going to worry she enabled Gwen to seek deadly revenge.
Of course, it’d be too easy if Gwen was the killer, so there’s surely another explanation.
Gwen is going to point the finger at Leo in the coming episodes, but he’s another suspect we can probably rule out.
This Days storyline will bring shocking twists and turns, so the revelation of Abigail’s killer won’t come until much later.
