Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has a courtroom battle brewing, so Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will betray Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) by stepping up as his attorney.
DOOL fans know Belle still blames Sami for her role in unleashing Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) on Salem, which set off a chain reaction with lasting consequences.
Of course, the latest drama came when possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) brought Jan out of her coma and arranged for her to sleep with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
Belle recently bickered with Sami about Jan, but Sami was also quick to defend her against the devil’s insults.
It was the perfect example of just how complicated things can get between these sisters. Unfortunately, things will be more complicated than ever when Belle decides to accept EJ’s case!
By Belle’s own admission, she only accepts cases she thinks she can win.
Belle will apparently decide she can get EJ off the hook for Sami’s kidnapping, but Days spoilers say her sister isn’t going to be too happy about that.
Nevertheless, Belle has a knack for investigating and tends to uncover facts that the police miss. Belle did it with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and seems poised to do it with EJ as well.
Despite the evidence that’s mounted against EJ, Belle will craft an excellent defense and head into court very prepared.
That’s going to cause all kinds of problems for multiple Salemites, but at least it should lead to the truth coming out down the road.
Days spoilers say Belle will help clear EJ’s name and ultimately cause major trouble for Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) as the man who’s truly responsible.
Lucas abducted Sami, held her hostage for months and tried to pin the whole thing on her husband!
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) may also go down for helping Lucas in the end, so Belle will make plenty of waves by accepting this case.
