Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will face their worst PR nightmare when they’re stuck dealing with Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) blackmail bomb cleanup. Stephanie will be glad she hired Chad since Paulina’s campaign will be in serious jeopardy, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) tracked Paulina down in the October 7 episode and dropped a hint about Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) buried secret.
There’s a good chance Chanel played a role in someone’s accidental death, but the proof may make it seem like it was a true murder cover-up.
Of course, this would’ve been something that happened many years ago when Chanel was in her reckless party girl phase.
Chanel has grown up a lot since then and finally has her life on the right track.
That’s one reason why Paulina will grow fearful when Sloan hands over an incriminating file and gives her one day to make a choice.
Sloan will warn that her client could let the info go public if they aren’t paid for their silence.
Days spoilers say Paulina will also worry about her campaign for governor, though that’ll be less important than the threat of prison that Chanel is facing.
Regardless, Paulina will decide that her problem will have to be Stephanie and Chad’s problem as well.
Once Paulina faces Sloan’s threat, she’ll take the blackmail news to Chad and Stephanie.
During the week of October 10-14, Days spoilers say Stephanie and Chad will grow alarmed over Paulina’s sudden shocker.
This could blow any shot Paulina has at winning the election if Stephanie and Chad can’t contain the crisis.
It looks like Paulina will reveal Sloan as the source of the threat and suggest they should do some digging.
Paulina won’t even be sure Sloan has her facts straight and will certainly wonder about this mystery client supplying information.
If there’s a way to retaliate with dirt on Sloan, Paulina will be interested in that tactic. The sooner they can get Sloan under control, the better!
Unfortunately, Stephanie and Chad won’t be able to keep this huge secret under wraps.
We know that Sweet Bits will be vandalized over murder accusations down the road, so this isn’t something that Stephanie and Chad will be able to erase.
Paulina may eventually have to tackle the issue head-on and perhaps spin the story herself.
There might be a sympathetic narrative at the center of all this, so maybe Paulina can help Chanel look less guilty.
