Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will eventually get a new love story, so will Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) help this widower move on from Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller)?
DOOL fans know Chad is understandably still in his deep mourning phase right now. Losing Abigail so suddenly was devastating, especially since it happened in such a brutal way.
The fact that Chad still doesn’t have closure is another factor. Chad can’t rest until he gets justice for Abigail, but there’s practically a new murder suspect every day.
That’s keeping Chad’s emotions all over the place – not to mention it’s been rough on him to become an instant single father. Fortunately, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel in Days stories like this one.
DOOL killed Abigail off so that Chad could ultimately let go and head down a new path. Otherwise, they would’ve just split “Chabby” up and sent Abigail off canvas.
Days wanted a firmer break so that Chad would have forced freedom. Chad never would’ve given up on true love if Abigail were alive, but he’ll be more willing to open his heart with her gone.
Could Stephanie come into Chad’s gloomy world at just the right moment? Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) daughter is indeed set to hit town soon. Following her Beyond Salem debut on Peacock, Abigail Klein will first appear on the main soap as Stephanie starting August 17.
Stephanie will need some time to settle in before she gets a love interest, which is great news since Chad still needs some time to grieve as well. However, there’ll come a day when Chad’s willing to fall for someone else – and that someone could easily be Stephanie.
Of course, there’ll be other romantic options for Stephanie in Salem, but Chad might be the most likely one. Chad will be desperate for someone to help him climb out of this pit of sadness and provide a fresh start.
