Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) could face some romantic temptation. Heartbreak will bring a surprising bond, so let’s talk about some Days drama and the potential for a new couple to form.
DOOL fans know the devil has made a real mess for Tripp, Chanel, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
Chanel has gotten the worst of it since she’s now been dumped by two twin terrors!
Following their whirlwind engagement and wedding in Italy, Johnny publicly broke Chanel’s heart and insisted he wanted a divorce.
Once Chanel finally got her chance to be with Allie romantically, the devil destroyed that, too.
Chanel was devastated all over again when Allie broke up with her out of the blue.
Now Chanel’s left to figure out a way forward when she’s feeling so alone.
Tripp is in a similar boat since he’s faced his own string of romantic setbacks.
Tripp thought Allie was devoted to him until he found out about her bedroom betrayal – and how fast Allie moved on with Chanel made things worse.
Although Tripp lashed out at Chanel in the aftermath, he’ll have some compassion when he learns Chanel faced another breakup.
Tripp will offer a sympathetic ear during the week of April 18-22, so Chanel will appreciate how kind he’s being under the circumstances.
Chanel will support Tripp in return, so they’ll do some commiserating now that they’re both feeling bitter and lonely.
This could turn into the perfect storm for a new couple if Tripp and Chanel surrender to romantic temptation.
Days provided a little taste of romance for Chanel and Tripp in Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas, which was a fantasy special on Peacock.
Could things take a romantic turn for real on the main show?
It’s possible Tripp and Chanel will share a kiss as they bond over how crushed they are.
It seems like a bad idea to go on the rebound like this, but Chanel and Tripp will be desperate for comfort.
Once Johnny is ultimately freed from the crypt and the devil is driven out of Allie, will they discover that Tripp and Chanel are a couple?
Time will tell, but we’re at least going to see some sweet bonding scenes that hint at the possibility.
