Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Clyde Weston’s (James Read) new job may enrage Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) surprise hiring decision should make some serious waves, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on DOOL.
During the week of March 21-25, Days spoilers say Clyde will have one last fire to put out behind bars.
EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will blow his top when he finally remembers Clyde was the one who ordered his death.
Since Clyde’s parole is just around the corner, EJ will think his timing couldn’t be better! He’ll want to ruin Clyde’s release and keep him locked up at Statesville.
However, Clyde will deliver a sinister warning and scare EJ enough to keep him quiet.
If Clyde has to threaten EJ’s family, that’s certainly a level he’s willing to stoop to.
Whatever the case, Clyde’s threat will work and that means his parole hearing will go well. Without EJ to create a stir, Clyde will indeed score his release.
Of course, Clyde will need to get a job and build a new life for himself on the outside.
The problem is that Clyde has made so many fierce enemies in Salem. Clyde obviously won’t be a very desirable job candidate for most people.
Nevertheless, Clyde will apparently go to the pub looking for work – and shockingly, Days spoilers say Roman will give him a job during the week of March 28-April 1.
Roman might hire Clyde as a busboy or an extra bartender, but there’s also a chance Clyde will be tasked with less pleasant duties.
Clyde might end up on garbage and cleaning duty if Roman wants to make life a little tougher for him.
The question is: Will Roman run this stunning hire by Kate first or just spring it on her in the aftermath?
Now that Roman and Kate are a couple, they really need to be on the same page about this sort of thing.
Even so, it’s easy to imagine Kate walking in and finding Clyde behind the bar for drama’s sake.
Kate may flip out and order Clyde to leave before Roman rushes to explain.
No matter how it all goes down, it’s hard to imagine Kate being very supportive.
This is Kate’s ruthless former flame – the same one Kate pulled the trigger on after Clyde kidnapped Henry Horton (Clyde and Nash Gunderson).
As a result, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) shouldn’t be too happy about Grandpa Roman’s newest hire either!
Clyde is a troublemaker to the core, so he’ll waste no time in stirring up more mayhem after his release.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Roman will be willing to give Clyde a chance – though he might suggest he’s working a “keep your friends close and your enemies closer” angle.
