Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the devil will target a new host and leave Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) body behind. Who will become the next possession victim? Time will tell, but DOOL buzz suggests the story won’t end with Johnny – just like it didn’t end with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall)!
Marlena underwent an exorcism and lulled Salem into a false sense of security. The devil let everyone believe the nightmare was over, but he actually jumped into Johnny’s body to continue stirring the pot.
Possessed Johnny has been wreaking all kinds of havoc and enjoying himself, but his own reign of terror may be derailed. That’s because Johnny has perhaps been getting a little too bold and overconfident.
Johnny would be better off flying under the radar, but he just can’t help himself sometimes – like with the cross he turned upside down outside Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) new apartment.
Between that clue and some of Johnny’s other strange behavior, there’ll be concerns over whether Johnny might be possessed. Days spoilers say Ben and Ciara will have an intense discussion about that possibility during the week of February 28-March 4.
Although Ciara may be skeptical at first, Ben might be able to convince her that Johnny could indeed be the devil’s latest host. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) also senses an evil in Johnny, so people are starting to pick up on the fact that something isn’t right here.
As the walls close in, what’s the devil going to do? It looks like Johnny will gain his freedom from the devil’s grasp, but that means someone else will become a possession victim.
There’s a chance it’ll be someone like Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), Clyde Weston (James Read) or another Salemite who’s already prone to do sinister things. Then again, the devil might prey on a better hiding spot – someone that Salem would never suspect.
Regardless, Days spoilers suggest this storyline will heat up with yet another possessed Salemite – and maybe even more after that! This hot plot will stretch into at least the summer months, so it certainly isn’t ending anytime soon.
