Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) devil attorney twist will bring a new trial opportunity. Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) will have a revealing visit with her son and tell EJ all about how the devil possessed Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
Of course, Susan will hate that EJ’s locked up for something he didn’t do and will no doubt have faith in his innocence.
Susan will want to voice her support to EJ and offer a chance at a new trial through the news about the devil taking over Belle’s body.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is the one who’s been making mischief for months, but the devil has manipulated the situation and made it look like Belle’s been possessed ever since Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) exorcism.
Susan will think that surely EJ can use that fact to his advantage and argue that possessed Belle tanked his case.
She’ll be looking for a way to get EJ out of this mess and will think the devil could be the solution for once.
EJ may struggle to buy that Belle was possessed during her time as his attorney, but Susan will insist it’s true.
Although EJ won’t have high hopes about Susan’s new trial strategy, Days spoilers say he’ll appreciate the info and his mother’s attempt to help.
However, there’ll be another important reason for this prison visit in the end.
It’ll give Susan the chance to get a psychic reading on Clyde Weston (James Read), so she’ll pick up on some unsettling vibes right away.
Susan may acknowledge that evil doesn’t always come in the form of the devil.
There can be humans with a sinister side as well – and DOOL fans know Clyde is one of them.
Days spoilers say Susan will battle suspicions regarding Clyde. She won’t trust him at all and will offer a warning about EJ’s cellmate before she goes.
EJ’s on the verge of total recall when it comes to Clyde’s involvement in his “death.” What EJ ultimately remembers could put him in grave danger.
Clyde could still pose a threat to EJ – not to mention the rest of Salem once Clyde gets out on parole.
