Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will return to chaos and attack TR Coates (William Christian). This protective husband will threaten Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) bio dad, so some tense scenes are on the way.
DOOL fans know Eli was helpful as Lani came to grips with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) not being her biological father.
Lani understands that blood doesn’t change the relationship she’s built with Abe in recent years. She adores Abe, who’ll always be her “real” dad as far as she’s concerned.
Lani didn’t even want to meet her biological father due to all the horror stories she’d heard about him.
Of course, Lani didn’t get a choice in the matter once TR showed up on her doorstep.
Now TR has vowed to do whatever it takes to be a father to Lani – and he was downright menacing about it!
At the same time, TR seemed genuine when he spoke about getting off drugs and booze.
TR’s story about going to therapy appeared to be true, so there’s certainly hope that TR has changed.
Even so, TR couldn’t resist delivering a threat veiled as a promise, so Days viewers still have good reasons to worry.
When Eli returns from his trip to see Valerie Grant (Vanessa A. Williams) in Washington, he’ll have good reasons to worry as well.
Days spoilers say Eli will get updates on Lani’s first meeting with TR and how traumatic that was.
Eli will hate that he was out of town when all the drama went down, but that obviously wasn’t his fault.
Eli couldn’t have predicted TR would show up out of the blue and figure out Lani was his bio daughter.
It’s just one of those crazy Salem coincidences, but Eli will at least want to protect Lani once he’s back in Salem.
Eli may argue that if Lani doesn’t want to see TR again, he’ll be sure to keep him away.
They could always get a restraining order if they have to, but Eli will also consider the possibility that Lani might change her mind and want TR in her life.
That’s something Lani will eventually mull over, so Eli will try to be respectful of that. Lani will open her heart to TR just a crack, but Eli will remain wary.
At some point, Eli will approach TR with a fierce warning, so he’ll make it clear that he’ll do anything for his family.
Eli is a man of the law, but he may warn that there’s no line he won’t cross to protect his wife and kids.
TR might actually admire Eli for being someone who’ll step up for Lani and the twins like that.
TR may act like Eli is a far better man than he used to be.
At the same time, TR will refuse to let anyone stand in the way of bonding with Lani – and that includes Eli.
TR and Eli are definitely gearing up for a faceoff when DOOL returns for the rest of February sweeps!
