Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) may have memory loss due to brain trauma. Will Eli wake up unable to remember TR Coates (William Christian) as his shooter?
DOOL fans know that when Eli first came out of surgery, he could recall TR shot him. Eli even tried to alert Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Valerie Grant (Vanessa A. Williams) to the truth, but all he really managed to do was mutter.
Unfortunately, Eli then suffered a subdural hemorrhage that brought on a seizure. He ultimately ended up in a coma, so all of that could take a toll. There’s no way of knowing how much Eli will remember since his brain has been through a lot at this point.
Days spoilers say Eli will indeed wake up eventually, but there’s a good chance he’ll be hazy on what happened – especially when it comes to who caused this gunshot nightmare.
As a way to drag the story out a bit longer, it makes sense for Eli to have some memory loss when it comes to the events leading up to his hospitalization. Eli can learn he got shot and admit he doesn’t remember much of anything.
Of course, what’ll matter most initially is that Eli has come back to Lani. She’ll be relieved and may urge Eli not to push himself too hard on fighting for total recall.
Even so, Eli certainly won’t want to let the culprit get away with this. He’ll want justice for himself as well as his family – not to mention the detective in him will feel a deep need to solve this case.
TR can continue to play innocent and bond with Lani, but all that’ll be over once Eli can point the finger at him. Days spoilers state that TR is going down sooner or later. You can bet that Eli will remember the truth and make sure of that when the time is right!
