Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that an Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) pairing may be in the works. It appears yet another woman will block Eric and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) reunion, so we should talk about what DOOL has in store.
Nicole and Eric were all set to get back together, but Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) pregnancy came out of nowhere and has left their future in jeopardy.
Unfortunately, Eric and Nicole will take very different stances on this baby issue, so that’ll lead to some clashing.
Nicole will also land in bed with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), so Eric certainly won’t be thrilled about that.
Eric and Nicole just won’t be in sync for a while, so this reunion they’ve been dreaming of will have to wait.
Although Eric will be willing to support Jada and the baby, that doesn’t mean they have a romantic future.
There’s a good chance Jada will have a miscarriage – that is if she’s really pregnant and it doesn’t turn out to be a false positive situation.
Regardless, it doesn’t look like Jada will bring Eric’s child into the world.
Jada seems poised to potentially fall for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so we should consider another option for Eric.
There have been some Days insider rumblings about Eric being paired up with Sloan for a while, which makes sense under the circumstances.
Sloan is done having flings with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and will no doubt want someone else in her bedroom.
Even if Eric and Sloan aren’t looking for anything serious, they could start out as hookup buddies and perhaps let that bloom into more.
Eric may be sympathetic to Sloan’s backstory since she lost both her parents in such tragic ways.
Likewise, Sloan could support Eric when he doesn’t end up being a father after all. Eric and Sloan might find comfort in each other and could possibly fall hard.
Whatever the case, Days spoilers say Eric may be moving on from Nicole and Jada for a while.
Nicole and Eric’s romance always comes back around, but Eric may get together with Sloan in the meantime.
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Sloan and Eric could shake things up as a duo, so stick with DOOL.
