Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) may stand by pregnant Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and provide the next obstacle to a Nicole Walker-Hernandez (Arianne Zucker) reunion.
DOOL fans know the pull between Eric and Nicole remains strong, so Days will lean into that in the coming weeks.
It’ll become tougher and tougher for these exes to fight their deep love for each other.
In the end, Nicole will push Eric to admit he’s indeed tired of fighting this attraction.
Nicole will certainly be tired as well, so Days viewers will see a steamy kiss at Basic Black.
Jada will witness that kiss and assume she’s going to lose Eric to his former flame, but a pregnancy twist could be a game-changer.
In DOOL’s promo for the new season on Peacock, Jada can be seen fainting in Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) arms at one point.
Fainting is obviously a tell-tale sign of pregnancy on soaps and usually sets the stage for someone to drop a baby bomb.
Will Jada find out she’s carrying Eric’s child? How will that affect Eric’s future?
Eric may choose to be a bit old-fashioned here and stand by Jada so they can raise the baby together.
That’s especially true since Eric does have feelings for Jada – not to mention Nicole is already married to Rafe.
It’s easy to imagine Eric thinking that Nicole, Rafe and Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander) should keep their family intact while he builds a new one with Jada.
There’s still the potential for Eric and Jada to build a meaningful life as a couple, so he may propose and offer her stability.
Eric won’t want Jada to feel like he’s going to abandon her because of his feelings for Nicole.
Jada’s possible bun in the oven could be a wakeup call for Eric about moving on instead – and that could obviously bring another “Ericole” reunion hurdle.
Jada may pull Eric closer again through some baby news and leave Nicole devastated.
