Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, April 29, reveals that Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) pulled a knife on Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) before Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) knockout. The getaway car also hit the road, here’s how all the DOOL drama went down.
In the crypt on Friday’s Days episode, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) tried to talk Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) out of killing Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).
The plan backfired when Andre turned the necktie on Johnny instead!
Meanwhile, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) filled Belle Brady (Martha Madison) in on the Johnny situation and Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) claims.
Susan rushed in the DiMera living room with more info since she’d remembered Johnny was the devil himself.
After Susan explained how possessed Johnny wiped her memory, Belle backed her up and realized she’d been deceived as well.
EJ remained skeptical, but he finally agreed to check out the DiMera crypt to see if Johnny was there.
Susan and EJ arrived right as Andre was trying to strangle Johnny.
Andre pretended he was Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), but Susan jabbed him with something and turned him to a pile of ash after suspecting he was Tony’s undead brother.
Johnny wanted to see Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and explained that the devil had jumped into Allie.
Since Johnny could barely stand up, EJ insisted on getting his son to the hospital.
Susan also freed Ben from his restraints, so he took off to find Ciara and protect her as well as their unborn child.
At Ciara’s apartment, Evan aka Christian Maddox insisted that he killed her husband.
Ciara stooped down and cried over “Ben’s” dead body while Evan grabbed a knife.
Evan insisted Ciara was next, but Allie suddenly appeared and knocked him out with a pan.
After Allie checked “Ben’s” pulse and assured Ciara that he was gone, she convinced Ciara that they had to get out of there.
On the road in Allie’s car, Ciara thought they should head for the police station.
Allie pulled off a speakerphone trick by making it sound like she called Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), who confirmed Ben’s death and told them to hide out at the Horton cabin until Evan was caught.
Ciara remained upset despite Allie’s attempts to comfort her. She eventually ordered Allie to turn the car around since she needed to be with Ben.
Allie wound up stopping the vehicle, but she pointed out that Ben and Ciara had vowed to be there for each other until death did them part – and now it had indeed parted them.
At the apartment again, Evan regained consciousness and assumed Allie had turned on him. He decided he’d better get out of there before the cops arrived.
“Ben” transformed back into Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) before Rafe showed up with questions.
Jake was disoriented and struggled to stay awake, but he revealed that someone besides Evan knocked him out.
After Ben showed up, he realized Ciara wasn’t there and insisted that the devil had come back for their baby.
Evan also found the empty crypt later and guessed he missed the fun.
In the town square on Friday’s Days episode, Chanel and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) ate some special croissant sandwiches as they bonded over their Allie heartache.
Tripp ultimately got a call to watch Henry Horton (Clyde and Nash Gunderson) since Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) couldn’t come home yet and Allie had bailed with a vague text.
Chanel and Tripp struggled to understand Allie’s behavior, but Tripp worried that maybe everything Allie had been through had been too much for her.
Both Tripp and Chanel stayed with Henry until Nicole could come home – and then Chanel went with Tripp to the hospital since she wanted to see Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
As Chanel was hugging Tripp, EJ brought an exhausted Johnny off the elevator.
Johnny glared in Tripp and Chanel’s direction as he witnessed the warm moment.
