Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, August 12, teases that Nicole Walker Hernandez’s (Arianne Zucker) Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) obsession will cause problems while Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) finds that he can’t escape. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will also help connect the dots, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Days.
First on Friday’s DOOL episode, Nicole just won’t be able to get Eric’s hot date off her mind. The more Nicole fixates on Eric and Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) new connection, the more troubled Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will become.
Rafe will call Nicole out for being so interested in Eric’s love life. Now that Nicole is married, Rafe won’t think it should matter who Eric dates.
Nicole may brush off Rafe’s concern and contend that she’s simply curious. Although Nicole will pretend she’s hopeful about Eric finding another romantic path, Rafe won’t really buy it.
Meanwhile, Alexander “Alex” Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will land in a tricky situation. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) hired Alex as a fixer, but neither of them want Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) to know what his brother’s up to.
That means Alex will have to keep deceiving Sonny as they hash things out. Alex may promise not to overstep again – and Sonny might acknowledge that he overreacted. The two of them will try to find common ground, but Sonny would be livid if he knew about Alex’s deal with Victor.
Days spoilers say that secret will explode when the time is right, but let’s focus on a different secret until then. Chloe, Brady and Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) will help Clyde Weston (James Read) nail down who the jewelry thief is – presumably once they all catch up with Leo in the town square.
Clyde doesn’t know Leo’s name or reputation yet, but he’ll soon hear about Leo’s involvement with Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) and all the other chaos he’s caused. Nancy’s hatred of Leo will only add to Clyde’s fury, so you can bet he’ll want the scoundrel locked up.
However, Leo will have to contend with a raging Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) first. Now that Chad is putting the tooth fairy clues together, he’s on the verge of making murder accusations.
Chad will think Leo might’ve killed Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and will refuse to let him evade justice any longer. With Chad, Clyde, Nancy, Brady and Chloe surrounding him, there should be no hope of escape for Leo.
Days spoilers say Leo will be taken into police custody soon, but he’ll demand a lawyer and insist he’s innocent – at least when it comes to Abigail’s gruesome stabbing.
