Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, August 19, tease that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will recruit Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) to stop Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) before Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) get busted together. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will also deliver a heartfelt apology, so let’s discuss what’s coming up in Salem.
At the DiMera mansion, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will push Ava DiMera (Tamara Braun) to surrender Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) shares or else he’ll expose that she helped Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) escape.
The fact that Gwen’s getaway happened on the night of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder certainly raises the stakes and will leave Ava on edge.
Meanwhile, Johnny will go for a run and cross paths with Gabi.
That’ll give Johnny an opporunity to sincerely apologize, so he may address his behavior while he was possessed and hope Gabi won’t hold it against him.
Later, Johnny will pop in Ava’s bedroom and realize she’s upset.
Days spoilers say Johnny will pull Ava into a comforting hug, so they’ll definitely be getting closer – and Ava may be able to use that to her advantage.
At Basic Black, Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) will be back from her extended trip, so she’ll share some sweet moments with Chloe and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
There’s a good chance Kristen will walk in on Brady, Chloe and Rachel looking like a happy family.
Kristen might even catch a glimpse of Chloe embracing Rachel and burn with envy.
It’s clear that Kristen is territorial when it comes to Brady and especially their daughter.
The only woman Kristen wants playing mom to Rachel is herself, so she’ll face off with Chloe in private.
Days spoilers say Kristen will threaten Chloe with a sharp object, so she may snatch up a letter opener during their confrontation.
Kristen won’t actually jab it, but Chloe will get fed up with all the conflict.
It won’t be long until Chloe pays Gabi a visit and pushes her to join forces against Kristen. Chloe may hope to get Kristen fired or at least transferred to another part of the company, but Gabi will struggle to get on board.
After all, Gabi owes Kristen – and it’s not a good idea to get on her bad side! Nevertheless, Chloe will be desperate and will fight hard to gain Gabi as an ally.
In Li’s hotel suite, Dr. Rolf will barge in and call Li out for trying to kill Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Li may not come right out and admit he attempted murder, but he’ll think he’s got another solution anyway.
DOOL spoilers say Li will pitch his brainwashing idea and hope Dr. Rolf can make Stefan fall madly in love with Chloe.
Dr. Rolf likes a challenge, but he may worry about how messy this situation is getting.
While Li and Dr. Rolf are discussing their plans for Stefan, Gabi will return to Li’s room.
That’ll leave Gabi suspicious of what Dr. Rolf and Li are up to, so they’ll both get grilled soon enough.
