Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, July 15, reveals that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) vowed revenge on Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) – and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) said goodbye to Salem. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) also slammed Belle Brady (Martha Madison) over her betrayal, so let’s talk about some hot DOOL action.
At the townhouse on Friday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was surprised to see Sami up and dressed so early.
Sami was trying to stay strong under the circumstances, but she admitted to catching Belle in EJ’s bedroom and was clearly furious over them sleeping together.
Marlena was taken aback, but she tried to persuade Sami not to go after Belle in retaliation.
While Marlena was in the kitchen, Sami snuck out anyway and prepared to make a vengeful move.
Next on Friday’s Days episode, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) returned from a trip and realized Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) seemed to be hiding someone in her bathroom.
It turned out to be Belle since she couldn’t go home and didn’t want to stay at the DiMera mansion either.
After Brady got updates on all the drama he’d missed, Belle realized she needed to get to Shawn before Sami spilled the news of her sleeping with EJ.
Once Belle left, Brady worried to Chloe that his sister’s marriage might be broken beyond repair.
However, Chloe tried to stay optimistic and accepted the necklace Brady offered her before they made love.
At Shawn’s place, he got some help from Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) as they put a baby stroller together.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) also made sure the baby monitors were set up and went to Shawn Christian Brady when he started to cry.
Shawn really appreciated the support, especially since Belle was treating Shawn Christian like an obstacle instead of an actual baby.
Although Kayla knew it wasn’t the same situation, she thought back to her previous resentment of Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and how she now loved him like her own son.
Kayla hoped that Belle could get past her own hang-ups regarding the baby in time.
After Sami showed up, she addressed the news of her failed wedding and revealed that she caught Belle sleeping with EJ.
Sami acted like she took no pleasure in sharing this with Shawn, but Belle appeared and vehemently disagreed.
Belle thought that Sami was absolutely enjoying this, so the sisters had a showdown until Kayla intervened.
Once everyone except Shawn and Belle exited, they fought over EJ and everything that had led to this moment.
Shawn didn’t think it was fair for Belle to act like he betrayed her with Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) when something horrible happened to them both.
Nevertheless, Belle pointed out that Shawn kept the details of that night a secret – and then there was suddenly a baby.
Belle was clearly overwhelmed and didn’t think Shawn understood, but he snapped about EJ understanding since she landed in his bed.
At the Salem PD, Kate objected to Lucas’ plan to plead guilty.
If Lucas confessed to the kidnapping, Kate thought it’d make it easier for him to get convicted of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder.
Lucas eventually headed to his arraignment and entered a not guilty plea, but the cop guarding him thought that even Lucas wasn’t buying that.
At the DiMera mansion, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) apologized for accusing EJ of the kidnapping since Lucas turned out to be the real culprit.
EJ found out Kate knew back in January and that Roman was done with her over all the deception.
Afterward, EJ found Kate at the police station and calmly confronted her over keeping quiet to protect Lucas.
Kate acted like EJ needed to get off his moral high horse, but he noted that revenge was a dish best served cold and hinted that it was coming for Kate.
Once Roman filled Marlena in on Kate’s betrayal, Kate showed up to the townhouse later.
Although Kate needed help and wanted to come in, Marlena wondered why she should let her.
At the DiMera mansion again, EJ found Sami and grew hopeful that she came back for him.
Sami scoffed over EJ being arrogant enough to think she wanted a reunion after catching him sleeping with her sister.
Instead, Sami wanted to say goodbye to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) since she was done ping-ponging between Lucas and EJ.
After Sami made it clear that she was done with EJ and ready to leave Salem behind, she made her emotional exit.
EJ looked distraught as he sat down and gazed up at Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say EJ will have to move on from Sami, but the road ahead won’t be easy.
