Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, July 22, tease that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) will return while Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) makes a surprise visit to Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will also get some stunning news, so let’s talk about what DOOL has in store.
For starters, Richard Wharton will take over the role of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf, so he’ll replace William Utay and put his own spin on the sneaky DiMera doc.
Governor Mitchell (Richard Bramhall) just held a press conference that brought updates on Orpheus, Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) getting full pardons, but it looks like we’ll soon hear about two more.
Dr. Rolf will excitedly approach Orpheus like he’s grateful, so maybe Kristen needed Dr. Rolf on the outside and made sure he was part of the deal.
Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) will also be nicely dressed for her release, so Kristen may do her this favor and urge Gwen to remember it when the time comes.
Kristen isn’t someone you want to be indebted to, but Gwen could find herself in that tricky position.
On the bright side, Gwen will indeed walk free along with Dr. Rolf, Kristen, Orpheus and Evan.
After all of them are officially released, it won’t take long for the drama to heat up.
Other Days spoilers say Jake will show Ava the latest news story and ask questions about Kristen.
Jake will inevitably wonder how the heck Kristen pulled off a pardon after all the horrible crimes she’s committed.
Ava won’t have a clue, but she may admit Kristen is a pretty resourceful gal.
It turns out Kristen will stop by Jake and Ava’s apartment, so they’ll be able to grill her in person soon enough.
Kristen may be cagey about the details of how her release happened, but she’ll make it clear that she intends to make the most of her freedom.
Since Kristen previously pitched the idea of teaming up with Jake, she may revisit that pitch and argue that they could do great things together.
Kristen’s priority will be Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), but she can spare some time to make bold moves at DiMera Enterprises.
However, Jake will be killed off during the week of July 25-29, so any alliance he might form with Kristen will be short-lived.
For now, Jake will share some lovey-dovey moments with Ava and set the stage for their upcoming engagement, which will obviously be short-lived as well.
Until then, Shawn will react to these shocking prison pardons and fret over what might happen next.
Since Evan made a couple phone calls to Shawn recently, he may warn Belle Brady (Martha Madison) that they need to keep an eye on him.
Evan is the true father of Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) baby, so will he reveal that claim immediately and go after custody now that he’s been pardoned?
Shawn will have to face the paternity bombshell sooner or later, so we’ll see how long it takes the secret to come out.
As for Dr. Rolf, Days spoilers say he’ll make himself at home in the DiMera mansion.
Dr. Rolf will propose a toast to Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) portrait and perhaps hint about some new plans he’s got in the works.
At the Salem PD, Days spoilers say Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will discuss Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder case with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and interrogate their new person of interest.
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will cooperate as best as she can, but she’ll worry since she can’t recall everything that happened the night Abigail was killed.
Since Sarah’s brain has been so scrambled with hallucinations, Jada may have questions about whether Sarah might’ve stabbed Abigail by mistake.
Sarah can’t be certain she’s innocent, so she’ll remain deeply troubled over this investigation.
Of course, now that the real Kristen is going to be on the loose, Sarah will ultimately have another reason to flip out!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say all these ex-cons will cause problems around Salem, so stick with DOOL.
