Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, July 29, teases that Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will rescue Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) while EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) exploits Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) tragedy. Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will also pull off a trick, so here’s what DOOL fans can expect.
As Chad faces the news of Jake’s death, Days spoilers say he’ll feel like he’s drowning in loss.
Chad is still dealing with Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder, so Jake’s demise will be a bigger blow than it might’ve been otherwise.
Sonny has brothers of his own and knows sibling relationships can be complicated.
Chad may wish he would’ve had longer to get to know Jake and connect with him. We’ll see Chad in distress once again, so Sonny will come to his rescue with some support.
Meanwhile, EJ will want to exploit Jake’s tragic outcome quickly and get his hands on his brother’s shares, but Gabi and Ava’s alliance should thwart his plan.
Now that Gabi has dropped a widow hint, it looks like she’ll help Ava fake her marriage to Jake and score the shares herself.
Other Days spoilers say Paulina Price-Carver (Jackée Harry) will insist it’s never too late to recapture love.
Paulina has made some big blunders in her lifetime, including keeping some huge secrets from Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
If Abe can forgive Paulina, she’ll think Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) can forgive Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
Kate may not be so sure, but Paulina will offer a pep talk and try to put Kate on the road to a reunion.
Next, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will set the twins free from the limbo they’ve been dealing with.
Now that Chanel has made a decision, she’ll need to fill Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) in on who she’s choosing.
There have been times in this storyline when Allie pulled in the lead and times with Johnny pulled in the lead, too.
Based on Chanel’s latest discussion with Paulina, it’s neck and neck on which twin she’ll end up with.
Chanel loves both Johnny and Allie, so it’s just a matter of who she sees herself building a real future with.
