Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, May 27, reveals that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) returned over Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) scandalous photos, so Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) drugging victim was stunned. Let’s discuss how Friday’s DOOL action went down.
In bed with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) dreamed she was back together with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and enjoying some steamy moments with him instead.
Once Gabi woke up, she learned last night was one of the most intense experiences Li had ever had. Li was smitten enough to consider postponing his flight back to Hong Kong – but only if Gabi felt the same way.
Although Li was willing to forget what happened, Gabi insisted she wanted it to happen again and hooked up with Li once more.
In bed with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), Jake dreamed he was in bed with Gabi instead and talked about how he knew he wouldn’t regret giving their relationship another shot. After Jake woke up to Ava, he lied about not remembering his dream and flirted with her about breakfast.
Ava worried that maybe they had skipped some steps since she moved in with Jake and then the romance developed – just like what happened with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
Once Ava decided she’d move out, Jake thought they could take a step back inside and acted like Gabi wasn’t a factor for him. Ava ultimately decided to stick around and got passionate with Jake again, so it seems his reassurance was what she needed most.
When Jake stopped by Li’s hotel room to thank him for all the support, he found out Li was delaying his trip back to Hong Kong. The messy room behind Li let Jake know why.
Across town, Ava showed up at DiMera Enterprises right as Gabi was getting off a phone call from Rafe. Gabi mentioned that Rafe and Nicole were engaged, but Ava argued that she’s already moved on with someone younger and hotter. That led to Ava mentioning that she slept with Jake last night.
At home, Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) whined to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) about Belle Brady (Martha Madison) trying to take her baby away in a dream. Shawn reassured Jan that he wouldn’t let a baby be ripped from its mother.
At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) got updates on Jan trying to force Belle out of her home office for the baby’s nursery. After EJ offered to let Belle set up an office in one of the DiMera mansion’s spare rooms, he went with her to get her stuff.
When Belle and EJ arrived, they witnessed Shawn giving Jan a comforting hug. EJ and Shawn nearly came to blows over all the Jan drama until Belle intervened.
Belle remained upset back at the DiMera mansion later, so EJ pulled her into a kiss to console her.
Meanwhile, Shawn ranted about being mad at the devil and the world over the situation he was stuck in. In Shawn’s opinion, EJ was trying to steal his wife.
Next on Friday’s Days episode, Leo tried and failed to stir shirtless Sonny awake. He reflected on the drugged cookies knocking Sonny out cold – but they still managed to have their fun according to Leo.
Leo gushed over some pics on his phone before taking off. After Sonny woke up disoriented, he wound up at the Kiriakis mansion and got chewed out by Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) for being late.
Sonny struggled to piece together what happened, but eventually realized Leo was behind the drugged cookies. Victor insisted Sonny needed to get to the hospital for a blood test so they could prove Leo committed a crime, so Sonny scheduled an appointment with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).
Soon after, Will arrived after his flight and admitted to receiving a news alert. Sonny reeled as Will showed him scandalous photos that had been published of him in bed with Leo. There was a big story on Leo and Sonny’s wild night!
In prison, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was surprised when Leo showed up to recruit her for his payback plot. Leo hoped Gwen would help him get revenge on someone else.
