Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) will become the romantic rejects, so could they be a surprising potential couple after Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) dumps her groom?
Gabi and Li are set to get married on New Year’s Eve, but most DOOL weddings are total disasters – especially when there’s a huge secret just waiting to explode.
Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) gave Gabi a serum so she wouldn’t remember him confessing to Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) brainwashing.
However, that serum could easily wear off right as Gabi’s about to say her vows.
Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) also know the truth, so one of them might blab in the end.
There’s even a chance Stefan will remember his love for Gabi and stop the wedding with an objection.
Regardless, Li isn’t going to get the happily ever after he was hoping for. Instead of kicking off his honeymoon, Li will find himself heartbroken and alone.
It might be interesting if Li and Gwen formed a connection in the aftermath.
Gwen knows what it’s like to keep secrets from her fiancée and watch it backfire spectacularly on her big day!
Days fans will recall that Gwen’s own wedding to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) blew up, so she’ll understand Li’s heartbreak all too well.
Gwen might offer Li some comfort if she stumbles across him looking lonely in the town square or something along those lines.
Li and Gwen might be an intriguing couple if they were given a real shot.
Of course, Days could at least let Gwen and Li hit the sheets for a hot hookup.
Even if it was just a one-night stand to commiserate over lost loves, it’d be fun to see Li and Gwen sizzle.
