Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) pregnancy may be her last chance to keep Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), but will the baby be real or fake?
Gwen is a desperate woman and has gone to great lengths to keep Xander in the dark on Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) true whereabouts.
Despite Xander’s love for Gwen, she knows he loves Sarah more and fears she’d get dumped if Sarah came home for real.
Of course, Gwen’s efforts will be all for naught since Sarah will inevitably land back in Salem anyway.
To make matters worse, Gwen’s setting herself up to face Xander’s fury. Xander’s going to be livid when he realizes Gwen hid the truth and posed as Sarah to throw him off the trail.
The fact that Gwen was willing to let Sarah rot on a deserted island certainly won’t go over well with Xander.
A brutal breakup is ahead for Gwen, but she may cling to hope of a future with Xander anyway.
It won’t be surprising at all if Xander reunites with Sarah – only for Gwen to deliver a pregnancy shocker.
After all, just throwing Sarah and Xander back together without complications wouldn’t be Days’ style.
Xander and Sarah might have an initial happy reunion, but Gwen’s baby claims could burst their bubble.
Naturally, there’s the potential for Gwen to fake a pregnancy as a last resort. After all the stunts Gwen’s pulled, it’d fit with her usual behavior.
However, it’s also possible Gwen could get a true second-chance baby.
Gwen was heartbroken when she lost the unborn child she was set to have with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), so maybe DOOL will offer another legitimate shot at motherhood – this time through a baby with Xander.
Regardless, Days will surely let Gwen announce her pregnancy if the show follows the typical soapy pattern – and that’s what DOOL tends to do!
