Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) may pick a shocking matron of honor. Will Gwen ask Abigail to accept this important role at her upcoming wedding to Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer)?
It’s no secret that these half-sisters have done plenty of feuding since Gwen came to town.
Gwen targeted Abigail and her family with all kinds of twisted schemes, but she wants everyone to believe she’s a changed woman.
Of course, DOOL fans know that’s not true since Gwen recently gave Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) another dose of a mind-altering drug.
It’s one thing for Gwen to get backed into a corner sometimes and make bad decisions.
It’s quite another to know for certain that this drug will harm Sarah and swap it for the antidote anyway.
Gwen has proven she’s completely selfish, so many Days viewers are awaiting her downfall.
However, Gwen’s wedding plans will move forward in the meantime.
Xander promised he would let go of Sarah if the antidote failed – and he’ll soon believe it indeed did.
Since Xander won’t know child-like Sarah was given the wrong drug, Days spoilers say he’ll assume he’s out of options.
After one last attempt to get through to Sarah, Xander will shift gears and focus on his looming nuptials.
Gwen will naturally be nervous about the possibility of her secrets getting out – including the fact that she was Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) accomplice and helped ship Abigail off to that remote island.
Even so, Gwen will try to put her anxiety aside and enjoy the chance to marry the man of her dreams.
Gwen can’t imagine a world without Xander by her side and has gone to great lengths to keep him there.
Now it’s almost time to tie the knot, but who’s going to stand up for Gwen on her big day?
The tension recently thawed between Gwen and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), but they’re not exactly friendly enough to warrant asking Gabi to be her maid of honor.
Gwen also can’t turn to Ava since she’s been downplaying their connection to avoid suspicion in the kidnapping case.
Since Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) has agreed to be Xander’s best man, Gwen may hope Abigail can put the past behind her and be her matron of honor.
Perhaps Gwen will consider it an olive branch of sorts and hope Abigail will feel the same way.
Regardless, Gwen will definitely seek a stunning favor from Abigail – and it’ll happen just ahead of her wedding during the week of April 11-15.
Based on the timing, it’s reasonable to assume Gwen will ask Abigail to be her matron of honor and hope for the best!
