Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will want out of prison to raise her baby with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Will this pregnant mom come up with a new scheme for freedom?
Jan has committed so many crimes that it’s easy to lose count at this point!
Jan’s done everything from murder Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) in cold blood to kidnap Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
However, this is a soap, so Days fans could forgive Jan getting off the hook somehow.
Other Days characters have gotten away with kidnapping and murder, so why not Jan?
Maybe Jan could ultimately be deemed insane and land back at Shady Pines or perhaps at Bayview.
Jan could try to convince her doctors she’s perfectly fine by the time her baby’s born.
If not, Jan could potentially blackmail someone into ordering her release or something along those lines.
Jan will no doubt pull every trick possible to become a free woman, particularly now that she’s carrying Shawn’s child.
If you haven’t heard by now, Jan’s pregnancy has been confirmed through a recent DOOL promo.
That means Jan’s steamy night with Shawn had lasting consequences.
Jan posed as Belle Brady (Martha Madison) thanks to the devil’s illusion, so Shawn believed he was sleeping with his own wife.
Now Jan has Shawn’s bun in the oven, so that’s going to blow up his marriage in a big way – especially since Belle didn’t know they actually went that far in bed.
Of course, Jan may view this baby as her ticket to a future with Shawn. She may envision raising this kid together and being the picture-perfect family.
That’s wishful thinking, but Jan is known for having wild unattainable dreams when it comes to her Shawn obsession.
It’s clear that Jan would do just about anything to score her freedom and raise this child with Shawn by her side.
Jan might plot to get out of Statesville and co-parent with Shawn – at least until he’s willing to embrace their future together as a couple.
Although Jan surely won’t win Shawn over, that won’t stop her from once again becoming a thorn in his side.
