Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) is secretly hooked on pills again, so Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) should discover her hidden relapse. DOOL fans know Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) loved ones have been through a total nightmare since she was murdered unexpectedly in June.
However, Jennifer has done her best to be a rock for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and has stepped up for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), too. Of course, Jennifer has also been there for the grandkids along the way.
It seems like Jennifer is working hard to make sure everyone’s OK, but what about Jennifer herself?
This tough façade will soon crack during the week of September 5-9. It’ll become obvious that Jennifer is struggling over Abigail’s death far more than she’s been letting on.
Days spoilers say Jennifer has a secret – one that’s allowed her to keep soldiering on like this despite the worst pain of her life.
Once Maggie corners Jennifer and sees the warning signs, she’ll realize what that secret is.
All signs point to Jennifer being battling a pill addiction again. Maggie will likely catch Jennifer popping those pills or perhaps find her stash as she tries to hide them.
Since Maggie has faced her own addiction struggles, she’ll understand what Jennifer is going through and will want to help.
DOOL viewers have seen Maggie fall off the wagon and spiral out of control before.
Maggie will see that Jennifer needs help, even if she isn’t willing to ask for it yet.
There’s a good chance Jennifer will crumble once she’s finally confronted and forced to admit she isn’t doing well.
These pills are apparently the only way Jennifer has been able to cope.
Days spoilers say Jennifer will have an opportunity to confide what a hard time she’s having and hopefully realize Maggie is right – that she needs help to kick this addiction once more.
Perhaps Jennifer will ultimately confess to Jack and enter a treatment program or at least set up some appointments with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
Jennifer will have to climb out of this pit of despair, so she’ll lean on Maggie as she takes the first step.
